Our Susho was inspired by Mount Fuji Seen in Ocean by Katsushika Hokusai,a Japanese artist during the 18th/19th centuries,toward the end of the Edo Period. Hokusai is world-famous for woodblock prints celebrating Mount Fuji. Even his famous oceanscapes refer to Mount Fuji,whether literally in the image,or figuratively,like this one comparing a tsunami-like wave to Mount Fuji.
