Just installed them in my garage, so far so good, but we’ll see how long they last.

I did order these bulbs a good while back and finally was forced to install them as my light units began to fail in my shop. These LED bulbs require the ballast to be removed/disconnected and then rewired for installation. As it turns out that is more work than I originally anticipated as it is actually easier to remove the light unit, perform the changes and then reinstall them. So each light unit is easily an hours work to do the updates. Sadly, in my pack of 8 tubes, thus far, I have had 2 that only half of the LEDS worked. I have 2 more to check out. On a positive note the LEDs are bright and the bulbs put out a lot of light. Being 8ft. long, they do tend to sag in the middle slightly from new. I'd not be surprised to see that increase overtime. I probably need to devise some sort of support maybe a tie wrap to hold them in the middle of the light, but it sure wouldn't look very attractive,... Since these are in my shop space, it is probably an OK solution, but the original engineering is probably suspect, in my opinion.

My condo building have 2 levels of underground parking a total of 80 light fixtures each running 2 fluorescent bulbs with ballast at upperwards of 210 Watts per fixture. These lights burn 24/7. Our electric bill is ridiculous. I've been wanting to make this light change for a while now. I bought these as a 10 pk to test in the garages. So far the easy was simple bypass the ballast.I retro fitted the fixtures with new hardware. I only use 1 bulb per fixture because brightness was as good or better than the 2 fluorescent bulbs originally mounted. I'm concern about 2 things. Being 8 foot long whether the middle of the bulb possibly could create a sag because no middle bracket holders were included and the integrity of the light itself. I just installed them today so time will tell.UPDATE 3/5/23: Lights are still going strong. Out of 100+ purchase I've only had 2 lights flicker. I replaced them with the extra I bought and we are good to go.These bulbs helped to drop our light bill by 60% instantly saving us thousands.I'm definitely happy with these lights.

We have installed 20 of these bulbs so far and have another 10 to go. As expected they put out a nice white light. These are being installed in an aircraft hangar and the lights are mounted 20 to 25 feet above the floor. The only possible concern at this time is the bulbs have a slight sag. Some sag is to be expected. Given that they have an aluminum back I am not expecting them to sag any more. The description says "(Must remove starter and bypass ballast. No extra replacements parts necessary.)" I take this to mean no support clips are necessary.At this point they are a five star item. I will update if there are any failures. Hopefully not, as we have to rent a scissor lift to install these.

I love these light bulbs. It’s nice getting rid of the ballast and getting brighter lights
