Pentair R141036 127 Tube Thermometer with ABS Case and 3-Feet Cord

I purchased this sinking thermometer and a floating thermometer to read pool temperatures at the surface and about 3' in depth. It is tethered to the pool. Both thermometers read in the same ballpark as each other (at depth is a degree or so cooler). It is easy to read and seems durable so far.

I bought this for my pool and it is very efficient and measuring the temperature. My older one had broken and this one worked within an hour of putting it in. Very efficient and good product.

It does what it is suppose to do however there is no loop to tie a better cord on. Ive had many of these over the years and the cord that it comes with will not last and there is no loop to install another. Other than that it's fine. I doubt that I will buy it again because it will only last as long as the cord.

I had high hopes that this thermometer would be a good one and I'm happy to report, it is! It matches a floating thermometer we have and also the water temp reading in our heat pump. Goes to prove, spend a little more and get something that the manufacturer is proud enough or confident enough to put their name on it.

Works perfectly, and sinks. Time will tell if it lasts, unlike my last one that lasted one season.

Terrible! The rope that attaches to the thermometer fell out before we even got it to the pool - and there’s no way to reattach! Cheap product - waste of $$

I bought this about 3 or 4 yrs ago. The string finally gave way. Guy who posted the pics of the pin removed was very helpful. Accurate, jives with pool heater and easy to read. Floating ones are not as accurate as they read surface temp. I got a float from the fishing supply store, styrofoam. Just buy this one and move on,

This is simple and easy to use, exactly what we were looking for. All the fancy digital readouts can't compare to an actual thermometer in the water!

My husband does a lot of swim training in lakes. It's very important to know the current water temperature for a number of reasons. This thermometer is great! And, best of all, it doesn't float!

I use it to check the water temperature in our potable water system. It is easy to read except when there is water beaded on the glass.(just wipe it off). The first one survived being dropped on the ground 3 times, which jarred the seal loose. The water eventually loosened the temperature tube from the indicator background. The next one the blue fluid separated into 3. This one has so far been giving good service. Good product, just don't drop it. It does not float.

Bought this for the lake, seems accurate and easy to read.
