Allersearch ACARIL Laundry Additive 8 Oz

Love this product! Works well, smells great! Just what I needed. Better than some other brands I have used.

I'm allergic to cats but have two cats. This additive, plus another leave-in conditioner that I use, make it so that I have NEVER ONCE had an allergic reaction to my cats, nor have any of my friends who are allergic and borrow clothes or blankets. It lasts a while too. The only issue is that it's messy - I kept it in a gallon Ziploc because it would leak a lot.

Thanks to two different sinus surgeries, my sinuses might as well be outside my body. Nose like a bloodhound, sensitive as gossamer to allergens. I gave this product a try for washing my bedding, and 3 months later I'm getting another bottle. It absolutely knocks dust mites out of our quilt as well as a thick mattress pad and the sheets, even when used in cold water. If you have a runny nose in bed, this can really help you.

I found out my constant cold was dust mite allergies. I threw out all old pillows, purchased dust mite covers for new pillows and our mattress and boxspring. That alone helped decrease my symptoms, but adding this to the wash helped even more. It is spendy stuff, so I only use it on my bedding. You only need to use a very little amount, so it lasts longer than you would think...though how long really depends on how often you wash bedding. It does have a strong medicine smell when in the wash, but once dried you can't smell it on the fabric. Would recommend to anyone with dust mite allergies. Worth a try if it might help you!

Best I can tell - this product does help some with my dust and dog allergies. I use it with my regular detergent when I wash my bedding and dog bedding. I have been using it for about a month and have noticed a slight decrease in symptoms but not sure if it's the Acaril or new meds I'm on. It's expensive so may stop using it when it's gone and see what happens.

I use this on bedding, it seems to be working since I noticed my sons allergy symptoms to be lessened, it even makes our blankets softer. I do wish it was cheaper given the amount. I’m trying the laundry wash version, but I like using this additive since I prefer the smell of my laundry detergent. The scent isn’t bad tho, it’s tea tree but fades quickly.

The product works great! The packaging….not so great! Leaked all over :(

My husband has dust allergies and while using this on our sheets he could get into bed and did not start sneezing/sniffling.I will be purchasing again and will use on curtains and our aplostry.The tea tree smell fades out in the drier.
