Keurig Entertainers' Collection Variety Pack, Single-Serve K-Cup Pods, 40 Count

The beginning of this review is for the DECAFFEINATED pack, which has 22 K-Cups, but have included information on a the COFFEE LOVERS variety pack as well as the BOLD LOVERS variety pack. I have tried them all!The DECAFF variety pack has four selections to chose from:-6 cups Dark Magic-6 cups Breakfast Blend-6 Newmans Own Special-4 Vermont CountryI have had the Dark Magic (as both regular and decaff), which is a dark coffee, and the DECAFF tastes SO MUCH like the regular that it makes me DOUBLE CHECK the k-cup each time to make sure I indeed brewed a decaff. Crazy! Very bold, dark, delicious. Same goes for the Vermont Country. I would not know it was decaff unless I looked at the packaging. I am not a huge fan of Newmans Own Special anyway, so as a decaff it is equally ho-hum. Vermont Country and Newmans Own are medium roasts, but Vermont has a stronger, bolder flavor. Breakfast blend is good enough; it is a light roast, and light roasts are my least favorite. The first two are my favorite though. The options offered in this box is nice especially if you have more than one decaff drinker in the house, or you are trying to figure out which kind you like. It is a good mix for that purpose. I liked having opportunity to try a few extra types of decaff K-cups. I will likely continue with just buying the Dark Magic as that is as special tasting as their regular caffeinated K-cup.I drink regular coffee to get me though the day, but sometimes I still want coffee but it is getting too late in the day or I have already had too much. Keeping decaffeintated k-cups on hand allows me to enjoy the ritual of a cup of coffee without the expense of poor sleep. Or I can use it as a base for a hot beverage with alcohol in it (usually some sort of Irish Creme). The DARK MAGIC and the VERMONT COUNTRY hold up their strong coffee flavor with addition of cream or booze. Great black, too. If you like a lighter, more tangy flavor profile then the Newmans Own or Breakfast blend will suit you. What I like most about these DECAFF options is that they don't taste watered down. Some decaff just tastes like a lesser version of the original. Trust that the DARK MAGIC and VERMONT COUNTRY taste like regular strong coffee. Yum!Now, the decaff box was a VINE item for me. I had already purchased the COFFEE LOVERS as well as the BOLD LOVERS, and had written a combined review under verified purchase. Since all these varieties are lumped under one, I could not write my Vine until I deleted my Verified :( BUT, I am still including the information from those on here, so you can read through the few variety packs I have enjoyed so far.The following review is for the box of the "COFFEE LOVERS" mixed variety pack (I then came back to purchase the BOLD roast lovers variety pack, and I added a note about that at the end).So.. Not too shabby of a selection. I prefer bold, dark coffee and my husband prefers medium to light roasts. I don't mind medium so long as it has a robust flavor. I almost never do light nor flavored. This pack seemed like a worthwhile mix. I am already a big fan of Dark Magic. All the darks were good and bold, some stronger than others. I have had a few of the medium- all good, especially the Krispy Kreme Classic. Nice middle of road coffee with decent flavor. I won't touch the light. As for flavored- not really my thing, but I don't mind one on occasion or mixed with regular. Or offered to guests. LOL. Truly though, this is a nice mix. It got me to try some brands that I haven't before and to try some roasts that I may not have considered before. I think it would make a nice gift, or just simply for something different to try. That one is GREAT! If you like bold coffee, this one offers a wide mix of DARK and bold MEDIUM roast k-cups. The mediums are on the darker end of the spectrum and definitely bold. I have been enjoying ALL the cups in this mix. I have met a few new "favorites". I have been having fun with both of these variety packs. The K-cups are loose in a box and I just reach in and surprise myself. This BOLD LOVERS is the best for my preferences, and the COFFEE LOVERS mix is great for finding something for anyone who wants a cup of coffee. I keep buying the BOLD LOVERS, and now I may or may not add in the DECAFF variety mix on occasion (all are good, I just prefer two so greatly of the four, that I would be more inclined to just buy a box of the ones I like most).As for any of the coffees tried in these variety packs, I tend to only buy a couple of types, so this has been a VERY nice way to try all sorts of different ones. I have learned about some options I never would have thought to try, and these have been a real treat. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these mixed boxes. NICE JOB!!___________________________In addition to the many K-cups I have tried here and the multiple boxes I have gone through.. I have not had a single issue with brewing. EACH AND EVERY cup has brewed perfectly and tasted fresh. When I receive a new box, I count the K-cups to make sure I have the amount stated. So far, I have always received the correct amount.

I rated each and every capsule down to the last one!Before you read my ratings it's important to note that different people enjoy different flavors of coffee. This is just according to my personal tastes! I like to drink coffee black to get the full flavor of the coffee alone so obviously if you mix it with cream, milk, sugar or other added flavorings it will taste a lot different.Now... MY RATINGS (listed from best to worst):1. Laughing man - Dukale’s Blend medium roast: Probably the best medium roast coffee I’ve ever had.2. Green Mountain - Colombian Select Medium Roast: Another really good medium roast here.3. Caribou - Caribou Blend: Delicious. These guys apparently just make good coffee :)4. Caribou - Daybreak: Delicious.5. Rev - No Surrender: Very Good!6. Tully’s - Italian Roast: Pretty good.7. Gloria Jeans Hazlenut: Don’t normally like flavored coffees but this one is pretty good! Watch out though, I got a little bit of heartburn/indigestion from drinking this one.8. Newman’s Own - Special Blend Medium Roast: Good but not as good as the above medium roasts.9. Newman’s French Roast: Pretty good.10. Donut Shop - Regular: This one’s actually better than I expected. Not bad at all.11. Donut Shop - Dark: Also not bad! Way to go Donut shop.12. Cinnabon - Classic Cinnamon Roll: Again, don’t normally do a lot of flavored coffees but this one was decent!13. Green Mountain Medium Blend: Tastes ok.14. Tully’s Hawaiian blend: Ok.15. Gloria Jean’s - Butter Toffee: I guess it’s not horrible, it’s just not my kind of coffee.16. Green Mountain Coffee, Dark Magic: Getting into the just ok but not so great ones.17. Laughing man - Colombia Huila Dark Roast: Meh. Didn’t really care for this one.18. Laughing Man Dark Roast: Ok but not the greatest.19. Krispy Kreme Smooth: Now getting into the just bad ones. I always used to think their in-store coffee was just old but nope, it apparently comes pre-olded… It just taste like old coffee.20. Kahlua Original - Light Roast: I personally think this one is disgusting. It might even be the worst coffee I've ever had. I couldn’t drink more than a couple of sips before throwing the rest out (I tried both capsules just in case). It just tastes like maple syrup… like drinking straight up liquid syrup out of a bottle. If you absolutely LOVE pancake syrup then you might be able to stomach this one. Otherwise… avoid.Thanks to this Variety pack, I now know which ones I'm ordering next! I'm ordering the top 5 in this list so that I'll still have some variety from day to day but It'll just be the good ones :)LOVED the adventure of this variety pack though! It's well worth the money (maybe except for that nasty Kahlua one) and it'll give you a ton of variety from day to day/morning to morning! Before this I was just trying K-cups 1-by-1 but it was taking forever and if I didn't like one... welp... I was stuck with it till I ran out. So yeah, this variety back was amazing :)Also worth noting that mine came with exactly 2 of each. I see other reviews on here saying that some were missing or mixed up. Maybe they've gotten better at quality control? Either that or I was just lucky.Anyway, hope this is helpful to someone else out there!

I love the selections! It's nice not having to drink the same old coffee every day. I didn't find the coffee to be bitter. It smells wonderful while brewing. All in all, it's great quality. The price is about average to other boxes this size.
