Duke Cannon Supply Co. Emergency Heat + Light Man Candle - Leaf & Leather, 13.5oz

I received for Christmas the Campfire version of this candle and liked it so much I bought this Leaf+Leather variety. That was a mistake. I realize fragrance is subjective but this version smells like something that's burning that shouldn't be burning. And that's not what you want in a candle. Won't be buying this one again. UPDATE: I shared this feedback with Duke Cannon and they wanted to make it right for me, so they sent me the Campfire candle and even threw in a couple of bars of soap. The Leaf+Leather scent is still nasty and should be discontinued but the company has a happy customer for life.

Great smell and last forever

There is a faint tobacco scent that you can get when this product is in use. I recognize it from when I pick up a cigar and run it under my nose to see what it smells like. Key word: FAINT.HOWEVER there is no leather scent at all. And the smell, just like the soaps and the colognes, is pathetically weak.I grew up smelling candles that leave their scent in a room even when not in use, for days even. This product will do no such thing, as just a couple of hours afterwards there will be no trace of the fact that this candle even burned for a while.
