It has burnt my face and caused my eyes to swell after using it for the first time. I’ve been wearing makeup for over 10 years and never had this happen to me, not do I have sensitive skin. My makeup box is full of different designer makeup and brands and I’ve never experienced this before. I had the makeup on for roughly 3 hours before my face became swollen, red raw and raised in bumps, also on my neck. I immediately took it off and saw the damage underneath. I woke up this morning to my eyes swollen, my cheeks swollen and sore to the touch.

When I first tried this foundation by NYX I thought I’d found my holy grail. An affordable foundation that it full coverage and actually fits my skin tone (I’m very pale with a lot of redness occasionally and this foundation covers it and matches me so well!)But it comes with quite a few downsides unfortunately that make me hesitate to give 5 stars.Number one is the consistency of the foundation. It’s quite thick, and dries very quickly. It means that the coverage is amazing, almost as good as a concealer, but blending it is kind of a race against time. If you leave it for a few moments too long you’ll find it has dried almost entirely on your face. It’s not a huge problem, but it can be a bit frustrating as you can find yourself using more of the product than needed because it dries so quickly. covering your whole face if you have skin issues like I do can be a bit of a chore.The thickness of the foundation also led to another issue I hadn’t imagined. It has ruined my makeup sponges one by one! It really does cake onto my real techniques sponge and is pretty difficult so clean off, to the point that cleaning the sponge it has actually ripped when trying to get all the excess foundation from it. If you use your fingers or a makeup brush to apply your foundation then this probably won’t be an issue!The only other little gripe is the bottle. If you were wanting to take the black plastic lid from the bottle (to get out of the last of the product that the pump can’t reach) then be prepared for foundation to go EVERYWHERE. It’s sealed so tight when really it could have just been a screw cap maybe? It’s not a huge issue though, just maybe open it up somewhere easy to wipe down when the foundation inevitably goes everywhere haha.In all I still use this foundation daily. It really is great for somebody who wants a cheap but really nice quality foundation, and it lasts almost all day for me. It’s just a shame it likes to eat my makeup sponges and dry to my skin like cement!

Do not buy! I returned it right away when I got it, came OPENED and without packaging or seal. So unhygienic and makes me question if it’s legit..

Just received my product with no lid/packaging! It's clearly been used!! Going straight in the bin!

I got many Nyx products .I am really happy with that .I was looking to order this foundation since long .It got it really quick delivered .But i must say ,i am really disappointed .It is quite liquidy and easy to put on .easy to spread but hard to blend .Made patches on my face .I felt it very heavy on my face and it oxidized very quickly which wasnt my expectation .I like Nyx other products but this foundation was not my thing

Good medium-high coverage but certainly overhyped. You can get much better foundations for cheaper prices that do the same thing. Dries quickly so you must blend quickly! If you don’t, will look patchy and can look cakey and crumbly. Have a decent primer or serum. I bought the wrong colour but mixed with the right shade I achieved the right tone. Has a pump which aides in fast application. Glass bottle which we all prefer. I tried applying with a beauty blender and brush (both standard and oval) there are both benefits and negatives to using these. I suggest trying out these yourself to see which suits your skin type. I don’t suggest this foundation for dry skin or acne prone skin as it may amplify dry patches making them stand out. A little goes a long way so probably would last a while if used sparingly.

I have finally found the perfect foundation for me. It is totally my shade, and it is full coverage but so light and non greasy. That's the one for me from now on

Just not a great foundation.... doesn't hold up to its long-lasting claims, it sits on the skin awkwardly from the start and creases easily, and eventually becomes very shiny/oily and cakes and separates. Colours are quite yellow leaning. It has the look of being very obviously make-up (and worse, as the day goes on, the -feeling- of being make-up on skin which, for me, is quite irritating) without actually making skin look better. I get the impression it's not awful, it's just lackluster, it's not any worse than any other foundation I have tried and not liked, but I don't like it and I don't think it works for me. I've used a lot worse, but I wouldn't want to leave the house wearing it. At the price point I can't be mad, and I know my skin is very difficult, very, very oily with some redness/acne scarring, so while I was disappointed someone with skin that is combo/dry/slightly oily that doesn't have any discoloration may love this.Pros are, it may work for other skin types, light colours lean quite yellow and won't go orange, and Nyx is cruelty free which is always a massive plus. It's also affordable, which makes it a shame it doesn't work for me but makes me less mad about the fact.
