What I was surprised with is that this instrument appears to have hand painted designs and logo. For this price point, the time and effort to hand paint each stick says something about the people making these instruments. The sound is amazing and sounds just like rain. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase sacs highly recommend this instrument ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful details and phenomenal sound! 💜🎶🌧 *by on Reviewed in the United States February 16, 2021* Extremely great value for the money! I was pleasantly surprised at the size. The sound delightful! After reading negative comments from many I was rather nervous. Did have to file down two nail points that could have been dangerous, but other than that it is divine!!! Will look at reinforcing some of the parts that others have said fall apart easily. I have quite a bit from Meinel so I felt good about ordering this and am very happy with my purchase!A month after this review i could already see the wood splitting and I hardly used it as I wanted to reinforce it. I love all my Meinel products so this is sad I can't use it. 😢 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb *by on Reviewed in the United States December 28, 2023* Once again Meinl kills it in the percussion industry. Imitators will charge 1/3 the price and deliver exactly what you paid for. The craftsmanship and look of this instrument is beautiful. The sound is perfect. Hard to describe but if you have heard a crappy rain stick then this one is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Very please with my purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Meinl Percussion RS1BK-S 16" Small Bamboo Rain Stick with Sustaining Trickle Effect and Hand Painted Design - Latin Percussion White Wood Clave --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/9182077-meinl-percussion-rs1bk-s-16-small-bamboo-rain-stick-sustaining](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/9182077-meinl-percussion-rs1bk-s-16-small-bamboo-rain-stick-sustaining) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
