No hit or miss here, All a big hit! Thanks!
The media could not be loaded. I've Ordered from this seller in the past and STILL have the plants, they are more then 5X bigger then when I got them. And some I've just recently split into my 5 since it was filling my 29 and 10 to the brim <3.So now getting a 55 gallon I knew I wanted these plants, but the tanks they are in I just didn't feel right splitting again and moving. SO I bought more instead. The wait was Tense thanks to USPS not updating the trackin' but it's been wonderful on the customer service end since Aquatic Discounts had links with updated times and information from when they packed it. After that though, even in 70% weather and 3 days out on a shippingtruck. The plants finally arrived. When they came, I had just got back from work, I didn't even change! XD I opened the box, Shredded the bags and organized my brand new plants. They gave TONS of stems, Lots of plants and everyone had roots from the third node down. Some even showed they grew while they where bagged because there where air pockets around the new leafs.Right after I ordered I noticed some plants that where in the package I bought years ago weren't in this one. So I Emailed them, and asked if they could be added and that I would be willing to pay extra :D, Sure enough they added the ones they still grew, and when they ran short of others they switched it with some more Swords, which I love <3. Amazingly when it got here, I counted as I went along, planting each stem individually as bunching can kill them. Planting the plants that needed gravel, tying the Java furn and Anubias to driftwood and chollas. Keeping in mind my fishes main "Traffic zones" so it doesn't get in their way.Much impressed, Not only did everyone come alive underwater, but the favorite plant of mine that I asked if they could add. Ended up being the majority of medium sized healthy stems. the swords are bushy, the nodes where green, The leafs where bright, though for the first day leafs pointed all directions because they didn't have light in the box. They are better now. And I didn't get 50 stems and plants.. I GOT 77! Some of the stems where so rooted from their trip I had to tweese them apart before planting. Some browning due to torn parts but thats a shipping issue, Not these guys. And there is no Sure fire way to ship plants hundreds of miles. Heck I've packed things in foam and they came Trashed like a tornado. NOTHING can fix that. But it's been a day since I added the plants and everyone is perking up, The brown leafs will be a defect till the new leafs come in, then I'll prune a little. But really they aren't that bad. Some leafs are yellowed but think about the fact they where in a dark, damp bag for 3 days. Not even hostas will stay bright green in those conditions. Many complain that they come in a bag in a box and nothing else.. People I ship garden plants, full grown Fuchsias can be smacked into a bag and shipped. The plants are forgiving, even if they are " browned" or " Yellowed" or " Torn" They will still grow! If they melt it's because somethings wrong in your tank, if they came in good health and got that way as you had them. It's your tank at fault. Browning and yellowing can not kill a plant, a leaf yes. But not the plant. Just as most large fish, You have to have a cycled tank for these plants to live in, and it takes having smaller fish start things off.Luckly I'm a pro in fingerling Asian and African fish. So that wasn't a big deal, but I still had to wait a month before adding plants, they NEED Nutrients that don't come in the gravel/ sand or caribsea bags. Right from the fishies bum :D. With more fish in quarantine at my local fish rescue, and a double growlight two days from delivery, this tank will be Booming in no time. AS if it isn't already, you can't look at these photos and tell me Aquatic Discounts isn't a five star shop. You just can't! Two orders, YEARS APART, And the delivery has been consistent with family members who ordered from them long before and during the time I have. These guys give you healthy Plants & stems that have or will root when they get to you if you have the proper tank conditions. Browning and Yellowing is all a part of the shipping process, These plants are a mix of grown and partially started Specimens and they will make a wonderful addition to any fish hobbyist, Read your books, Gain the lessons. And once done, buy the plants and have a TON of fun enjoying the world of aquariums. Your fish will surly thank you for it. As nothing in this world beats real life, healthy, nourished plants. Such as the ones you see here :D. Do NOT listen to the bad reviews. They are of unqualified professionals or Novice tank owners. Who don't know a Diamond is found as a ROCK and breaks into a shinny magical thing, and so too. Are these plants. Some come that way, some are grown that way. It's all in how YOU raise them.THANK YOU AQUATIC DISCOUNTS! LOVE my 4th addition to the room and all your help <3

Beautiful Aquatic Pants!
I've bought one of the smaller plant packs from Aquatic Discounts before and was very satisfied with the purchase. Which led me to purchase their biggest pack of 50 live plants for a pretty awesome deal.It took about a total of a week or so, to arrive at my house, the weather conditions in my area were fluctuating and they had informed me via email that delays may happen due to weather conditions. That this shows effort put in by the seller, they didn't need to keep check of the weather conditions to make sure the plants would arrive in good conditions. So I give them much appreciation for that. When I received the plants, all of them looked healthy and beautiful. Sure, there were some withering leaves here and there, but it was all to be expected when live plants are being shipped through the mail. But what was odd, I did not receive the Water Sprite, Anacharis, or Water Lettuce as mentioned in the purchase description. But instead I got some kind of mini bamboo which I didn't care for too much, because I was never expecting it. That can be considered false advertisement...As for all the other plants, I got every else that was mentioned on the description, the red amazon sword was HUGE and very beautiful and filled a very empty spot in my 55 gallon. The large anubias I received was excellent, it looked like it was two plants because there appeared to be two rhizomes, but it was all one plant with possibly two rhizomes somehow conjoined? Or just one rhizome that was folded inwards, I'm not entirely sure. The thing I wasn't happy about, is the seller had already snipped the tips of the leaves, not sure of they did that because the tips were looking bad or what, but I wish they hadn't snipped the leaves for me.Another thing I should mention, and I think Aquatic Discounts noticed this complaint from other reviewers, is they didn't seperate the plants, the smaller packs i ordered before all came in one big package, and all the plants were intertwined and it was just a big mess. This time, they had separated all the plants into about 5 packages. Which was nice, I appreciate that very much. It made things so much easier on my part.Overall, the purchase is definitely worth it. The only thing I have against this product is the plants that were taken out and replaced with the bamboo. Not that it was entirely a big deal with me, but it just seemed odd that I didn't receive some of the plants I was supposed to. Maybe they're not in season? Who knows...Definitely going to order some more plants soon!4 stars, would have given 5 if it weren't for the missing plants.

not whats pictured
you get what you pay for i guess. the plants were all in good color...all alive and all are still alive and growing. not happy with the size of the plants but again the price was very cheap so ya its going to take a lot of time to grow them out. keep in mind when they say 50 they mean it but when they cut stems to 3 inches in length and count them as 1 each thats what they are sending you....most of the stems are soo short that i have to let them float until they get long enough to plant......a 3 inch stem pushed 2 inches into the substrate only leaves 1 inch sticking out,,,why bother planting? over all i would spend more money and actually get larger plants that i can plant right from the get go.....almost like buying lawn clippings.
