2 Cylinder D/E Oxygen Cylinder Cart

We had asked the 2 main home care providers we normally work with for a cart for 2 oxygen cylinders. Neither had one listed nor seemed to be able to find one - not even sure a 2 cylinder cart was available anywhere. One provider offered to sell a single cylinder cart and suggested that our local machine shop could modify it to hold 2 cylinders. Then along came Amazon in our search - just what the patient needed! Great cart, works great, what more needs to be said?

My husband is 100% dependent on oxygen. This gives us longer periods of time to get out if the house for appts, etc

This review is for the dual E tank personal oxygen cart I purchased from Amazon for $78.00 and is non-returnable. This cart is made of flimsy sheet metal that is made to a diameter, thickness, and strength that does not hold up to the loading, unloading, and transporting of two E cylinders on a daily basis. The cart has a short handle that when extended to the full length does not provide a fulcrum point to tip the cart to move it. This makes maneuvering it around the home shop, outdoors, and in and out of the car an awkward and frustrating problem. This cart is junk and sits in the junk pile. Don't waste your money.Fortunately, I have two single E cylinder carts I bought from Amazon. Both of them are of high quality and ergonomically well designed and give solid service. It's easier to push those two carts.

excellent. just what i needed

The handle is a little wobbly. It holds the tanks lower than a single caddy. It works great for what I need. I can still hook it up to my walker. The cart itself is fairly light and it came on time. It was in two pieces took maybe 5 min from unboxing to usage. So far very satisfied with my purchase.

Needed to be able to carry extra tank and this unit provided the solution. Doubles the length of my leash (Hi Hi)Compared to some others I have seen, this model is considerably lighter, an important criteria.

It is convenient to have two tanks available at once. It allows for longer excursions. However, I would have given it another star if it had a handle down where the metal rings that hold the tanks in are. It is fairly awkward to lift in and out of a car with the tanks installed. It is even more awkward to have to remove the tanks form the cart to put them in a car and reinstall them in the cart at the destination. It would help, too, if the cart itself were a bit sturdier.

We need two tanks running at one time so this is good for our needs.
