I am almost 70 and have used Crisco for 50 years. There is no shortening like this. I have tried off brands because Crisco is getting hard to find in my area . The others are not the same. This makes the flakiest shortbread pie crusts and I always use Crisco when I fry chicken.

Crisco Soybean Shortening is to die for, slicker than hog lard , not hard to enjoy. Comes in 3 lb. nicely dented containers for your inconvenience and the sell by date tells you it,s about to expire right on the can. Awesome product for frying eggs slow over a gas stove. Folks, listen now, this ist no joke, get ya some now.
