Works well, stops the bleeding. Just rip open the package, roll it slightly and slide it into the nasal pasaage that is bleeding. Push it in as far as possible. Leave it for a little bit, according to package directions. Gently remove it. I have used this product several times and it works well. I will purchase it again.

My son gets frequent and severe bloody noses. His doctor recommended these to help stop the bleeding and they work great. Sometimes it does take a couple of them before it stops but he always keeps these in his desk, nightstand and backpack. We keep them in the car too. My father uses them too - for when he bumps his bald noggin of something and his scalp starts bleeding. This stops that very quickly. They do have an expiration date so if you don't think you'll use an entire box of 100 in about a year, then go for a smaller size box. We will continue to buy these because they do what they say and they meet our needs perfectly.

I keep this in my medicine cabinet for nose bleeds it works very well and is very useful.

Unfortunately I got to try this days after I got it and it worked when nothing else would. I am on blood thinners when I have a bloody nose that's really bad it looks like a crime scene this stopped that if you have bad bleeding this will work.

For those that work in the trades, a quick slip, a small bleed, can complicate a job if blood gets on the finish product. It's impossible to hide blood. So, keep a small packet handy for that little kick or puncture.Treat with the blood stop, use a band aid and get back to work. Properly repair the wound when you get home and rebandage,AND, be MORE careful next time. "A dull knife is the most dangerous tool in my tool box".

I got this product for my son who is a wrestler. He has a history of getting nose bleeds from those oh so tender cross faces.The first time we actually used this was at a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class and it was simply amazing. He opened it, gave it a twist, folded it in half and inserted in his nose. Within a couple seconds, he said he felt it swelling up and putting pressure on his nose. Within those same couple seconds his nose bleed stopped faster than turning off a sink tap.He left it in for only a few minutes but during that time he could go back to competing and didn't worry about the plug coming loose, over filling or anything. Upon removal there wasn't the normal scab tear or slight leakage that is normal from the nose "tampon" cotton plugs.Yes these cost a little bit but if your using them during any sport they are worth their weight in gold and normal nose bleeds these help prevent that big tissue booger.Finally these can be used to stop bleeding on minor cuts also.Even with wrestling season winding down I'm still buying another box or two for Jiu-jitsu and my first aid kit.
