Bob's Red Mill Organic Flaxseed Meal, 32oz (Pack of 1) - Non GMO, Vegan, Paleo Friendly, Keto Friendly, Kosher

I have always bought the whole flax seeds and then grind them in the blender before I use them so that they can be digested better. I make fiber cake and use chia seeds and flax seeds in it and thought that if I just bought some of the meal, it would save me from having to grind it up each time.I put the opened bag into a jar and keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh, and it is perfect for adding to anything that I am baking and want flax meal in. I like the Bob’s Red Mill products because they are all organic and stone ground grains, so I believe that they are very healthy and worth paying a little extra for.

We take flaxseed daily for fiber intake and have been buying Bob' Red Mill flaxseed for years because of its good quality and reasonable price. We are currently subscribe and save this product from Amazon.

I use this product everyday in my goat yogurt.

The product is a bit grainy but after soaking it softens but the full flavor is missing. The bag closes more like a well crow, might be leaking oxygen which can eventually oxidize the cracked seed. But the product has good quality, easy to cook and enjoy the product. Loving it.

This was a great price for Bob's Red Mill. What I received came in a Bob's Red Mill factory box with no aftermarket shipping box. The best-by dates were the same on all four bags, April 16, 2021, if I recall correctly. I bought this in late June 2020. I'm not sure if that means it's new stock, but I'll use all of this long before then, because it's a daily addition to my diet. The actual product I received seems very fresh, too. Scooping it out of the bag, it heaped very well on the spoon, indicating a high amount of retained essential oils (not dried out). That tells me it went right from the mill to the bag, and probably recently. Now that I think back on the last batch of ground flax I bought (not from Amazon and not Red Mill) It was much drier and cascaded off the spoon because there was little retained essential oils to bind it together. I wasn't disappointed with that last batch until I saw the obviously higher quality of this product. Highly recommend!!!

It was a bigger bag than I was expecting, but with a re-sealable closure. Keeping it in the fridge. It looks, smells fresh. I'm only using small portions as I am not yet used to using flaxmeal, but it definitely added flavor to my oatmeal. This brand has a good reputation among my friends and from what I could find online. I have not experienced any excess gassiness or gut discomfort, so I'm happy with it so far.

The package were nicely seal and the flaxseed were nicely dried as you can hear the crisp sounds make by it.
