All pros, no cons and no regrets
For others like myself who refuse to follow the medical recommendation to turn off the TV [or phone] an hour or more before bedtime, these are game changers. I want to watch TV using my prescription lenses, so I specifically wanted a lightweight clip-on solution. The spring-loaded clipping mechanism works fine and should fit over lenses approaching 1/4 inch thick. It's too soon to know, but I hope it will continue to work through many on-off cycles in the coming months and years. Note that these do not 'flip up', which I perceive to be a positive. I didn't want to pay more for that feature; I don't want extra parts adding weight and being something else to break; and intermittently seeing blue at night seems to me to defeat the whole purpose. I just watched a video by a scientist who claims that blue-blocking lenses need not wrap around the side of your eyes. Blue rays in your peripheral vision are an almost insignificant part of the nighttime problem. He alleges most of the receptors of interest are located in or near the retina. I conclude the clip-on solution is sufficiently effective for my purposes. These lenses appear to be made from the amber-colored material. I see no evidence that these are clear lenses with a cheap colored coating as I've heard is the case for other similar products. It's too soon to tell if these have any scratch-resistance, and I probably wouldn't have wanted to pay extra for such a feature, but I intend to handle them carefully and then faithfully store them in the nice case they arrived in. Somebody somewhere is going to complain that blue-blocking makes things "look weird". So does taking Sildenafil where everything looks blue. So does scuba diving where the reds become undetectable. It's not a matter of clarity - the lenses seem flawless - it's what the world looks like without [the majority of] blue color. The benefits are worth the effort to adapt to things looking this way for an hour or so at the end of each day. I didn't want to invest a bunch of time right now researching the science behind this - I just wanted to block a huge part of the blue light spectrum and see if I could improve what my sport watch has been telling me is 'poor' sleep. The results from the first night were promising, but I knew it was entirely possible that other factors could be responsible. Several weeks' sleep reinforced the first night's findings - these lenses definitely improve what my watch detects for sleep quality, and there's no question that I fall asleep almost immediately now. This is a well-made product that performs exactly as needed, purchased hassle-free, and delivered promptly. I think the value of improved sleep for this price is exceptional. I would highly recommend Spectra479 lenses in any form factor from Zendustries.

Pretty good (not a paid review)
So I've been doing a lot of research on this stuff and trying to figure out what would be the best option... - I knew that I needed something that would just clip over my prescription glasses, because I didn't want to have to put on my contacts to use a product. - A friend recommended blue light glasses for general sleep hygiene, which may in turn help with my ADHD symptoms. While I can't speak on that just yet, I will set a reminder to update this review in a week so that I can assess sleep quality/motivation stuff. If it improves sleep quality, I will update my review. -I also would like to add that this is NOT a paid review, which I've been super wary of when it comes to Amazon reviews. I am hesitant to trust rave/ "BUY THIS NOW!!!" type reviews. I decided to write a review so that people like me might have an easier decision process when it comes to newer products that might be considered snake oil. PROS: -Definitely block out blue light. I am wearing the amber lenses. While outside, I accidentally put regular garbage into my blue recycling bin instead of the black one. -Easy spring mechanism to clip on. I don't need a flip-up, and I read that they didn't add it to minimize weight. I don't know how much it would add to the weight, but the clip-ons are definitely light enough for my needs. -Noticeably ease eye strain. I didn't realize how much direct sunlight caused eyestrain, but it definitely made a difference outside (no squinting, less need for my eyes to adjust). -Satisfactory build quality. I haven't compared them other glasses, but these definitely do not feel like I was scammed/cheap-ed out on. -Comes with a microfiber(?) carrying case. CONS: -The glasses are very slightly asymmetrical in assembly on the spring mechanism, which doesn't affect the functionality of the glasses. If the company is not a huge manufacturer (which I've read they are not), I can forgive this. -I did notice there was a slight bit of glare reflected when faced away from the sun. -There's not much pizzazz with the box it comes in, nor any special offers/marketing material, but I guess it's a pretty utilitarian purchase. CONCLUSION: While these are higher in price than other products, I think the overall blue-blocking is very effective. The build quality is good, but not 100% perfect. The design is simple, and it covers my larger-frame high bridge lenses quite well-- probably about 1/4 of an inch is not covered on my lenses. I also like the retro look, but this is just personal preference. Won't make any recommendations for anyone else, but I'll say I don't regret the purchase. EDIT 7/29/21: So I've been using them for a little bit now, and I can say that I like them a lot. They seemed to have a pretty good effect on making me able to sleep faster -- I could be on my phone in bed and still feel the need to sleep. It's difficult to say on whether the overall quality of my sleep is better, but I think the ability to fall asleep easier is worth it to me. They are well made and worth the cost, IMO.

Awesome blue screen blocking glasses.
This is a great item to relieve your eyes from fatigue with blue screen.. when I watch TV with these on before I go to bed ,I sleep better and easier to fall asleep. I only have the amber color so it changes the color on your screen. Never tried the clear ones. I bought one for each of my family members.they are clip on so they fit perfectly over my eyeglasses.

High quality - built well
These clip-ons appear to be very effective in blue light blocking. I've only used a few nights but I do believe it is already helping with my sleep patterns. I've only really used the nighttime so far about 2 hours before bedtime and I seem to be waking up less during the night and getting into a deeper sleep. I tried the daytime lenses and they are pleasant to wear and do not affect your ability to see clearly. Time will tell if this is a long term solution; I had suspected my exposure to electronics all night started to affect my sleep negatively. These clip-ons (both day and night versions) are pretty well constructed and high quality and would fit a variety of glasses but not all. The shape and size luckily fits my own glasses pretty well. I can't give a 5th star yet as I'm not sure this will be a long term solution; the other factor that keeps it from a 5 rating is they probably would not fit all glasses and the clips although sturdy are a little thick and my nose is essentially resting on them so it's slightly less comfortable than it could be. I suppose they would be 5 and perfect with glasses that accommodate this feature. The clip-ons are well packaged and with protective cases and cloth bag to keep them safe.

Great for Reducing Eye Fatigue — Stays Secure All Day
I love these Spectra479 Clip-On Blue Light Blocking Lenses. I recently had cataract surgery, and my doctor emphasized how important blue light protection is during recovery, especially with screen use. These clip on securely to my glasses and don’t shift around, which makes them easy to wear all day while working. I’ve already noticed a difference — less eye fatigue, less dryness, and I don’t feel as exhausted at the end of my workday. That alone makes them worth it for me. They’re comfortable enough that I plan to keep using them even after I’m fully healed. The only small thing to note is lens height. My glasses are on the larger side, and these lenses are slightly shorter, so I can’t see as clearly if I look sharply downward. For normal day-to-day use, though, it hasn’t really been an issue. Overall, these have been a great addition and really helpful for reducing screen-related eye strain.

TOP NOTCH QUALITY!!!!
This is a fantastic product. Could not be more pleased with the purchase. Everything about it stands out. I hope the vendor who produces and sells them is doing well. I purchased a long time ago and should have given a review then but I have had them for a long time now and used them routinely so its better now. Sounds silly but everything about them was impressive. The plastic case came in a silky pouch that can be used to actually clean the lenses. The case itself is sturdy plastic that protects them perfectly and holds it tightly so they don't rattle around. The way they attach to the glasses is very well executed, as in they don't just slide over but have a sturdy spring action that makes certain they stay snug and never fall off and go on easily and then THEY WORK! I remember when I received them there was a little note that said they were a small family business so if I could give a review it would go a long way. It was one of those....oh I really ought to do it thing you don't end up doing but here I am by chance and feel compelled to do as I thought I should some time back. Hope their business is doing great and I would buy again except they still work perfectly after a few years and I STILL HAVE THE CASE AND THE LITTLE POUCH THEY CAME JN

Truly Helps with Migraine Headaches
My doctor recommended blue-light blocking glasses to help with my migraines, which had become almost daily. I am using these 2 or 3 hours before I go to sleep. Using a sleep tracker, these have helped me attain more time in deep sleep. It's really remarkable what a difference it's made. They are comfortable, easy to slip on over my glasses, and I forget I have them on, until something suddenly appears as a strange color. I'm also wearing them when I have a migraine if I have to go out in the light. (It was a fun shock to look up and see a turquoise sky!). They feel very soothing to a migraine, so I guess that range of blue light was painful. The most important thing I want to tell you is that my migraine frequency went down within a week. I am combining these with other "sleep hygiene" methods. I'm so happy and hopeful to find something that works better than medications (which all have nasty side effects). I also today found a medical study on the web which says migraines with poor sleep patterns have more frequent migraine attacks than migraineurs with good sleep patterns. Also, my husband says they look cute on me and that I'm looking at the world through "rose-colored glasses." A later addendum: The little plastic ends that cover the wire pieces that clamp on can come off easily and then the wire ends can scratch your prescription glasses. So be careful when you unclip them. they are easy to lose, when they come off and then the whole product in worthless. Luckily I found one on the floor.

Claps Issue
The frames are wide enough to cover my glasses. The only issue is that Clasp is too small. Since I have a bit of a thicker frames. I have to push the clasp harder to open it wide enough for it to go into my glasses. Since the clasp is so small it hurts my finger because I can't get good grip and I need to push it all the way to get it fully open. I wish the design of the clasp is bigger. It would make a a huge improvement. In my pictures you can see a black clip on (different product) clasp that is big and comfortable size that can be open with no issues. As you can see the clasp on this orange clip on is too small.

Very happy with them
The lens quality is good, they do not cause distortion compared to other ones I tried before. They don't flip up and down, but that doesn't matter to me, I actually prefer that because the clip-on is lighter and less bulky than those that flip up and down. I like them so much that I bought 4 pairs of their glasses to give to my kids and grand kids.

Actual Game/Life changer
I work a desk job that requires me to stare at excel sheets and documents for hours with multiple screens, the clip on lenses have been a game changer for me, be it at work or at home. Blue light toxicity is a real thing in our digital age where all eyes appear glued to screens be it toddlers or seniors . . overall i am satisfied with the product and highly recommend it for others as well. I have personally used clear lense "blue light blockers" but after using these lenses from spectra, i know this is the real deal.

Works very well
After a few weeks of using this upon receipt, I feel it has been money well spent. My eyes thank me (and this) for feeling less strained and it also belongs to my arsenal in (long term) improvement of my eyesight. I have had no problems with the clip-on yet. It can feel a little flimsy but as long as you are careful with it (which you should with any item of value), I think it should last a long time. Even if it has to be replaced, I would think at the price point, these are very good value blue light blockers. Thank you to the creator and he even included a hand written note to thank you for the purchase. Nice touch and authenticity. Please keep making good products! Highly recommended.
