RSVP International Herb & Salt Containers for Countertop Polished Marble Dish/Bowl, 2.5" Diameter x 1.5", Black

I bought a couple of these to use as ring holders. I have one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom so that I can put my engagement ring in a designated spot and keep it safe and clean while I'm cooking, showering, etc. It's just the right size for this purpose. The bowl is not very deep, but it's enough that my ring sits securely. These are also very solid and sturdy, so I don't worry about them getting knocked over. The felted bottom means it won't slip around. This is important because I have two pesky cats who like to knock stuff off the counter.

This is described as a kitchen object, a pinch bowl, and a salt bowl. It's certainly too shallow for the latter. I would hesitate to keep salt—or any fine material—in it because the grains would waft away in the breeze. The bowl simply isn't very deep.The bowl is smooth and well polished. The inside is evenly turned and also smooth, although it isn't brought to a mirror polish like the outside.The sides of the bowl are thick and robust. I don't worry about accidental chipping, although I do take care as it is marble. I wouldn't throw keys in this bowl, but it would make a lovely ring bowl.I wish I had known that there is a felt pad on the bottom of the bowl's base. This pad is adhered with glue and cannot be easily removed.It's better used as a bowl to hold objects no larger than dried berries. I use it as an offering bowl on my altar. Being marble, I can use it for liquids without worrying that it will discolor like a metal bowl. I also bought this object in black. The white/black symbolism fits in perfectly with my altar and offerings. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a white offering bowl. It's just the right size.

Works well as a ring dish in kitchen!

I use for pill dish, medicine plate. It is heavy enough to sit solid in the bathroom counter and not get flipped over. Had a good feel to it. Nice quality looking tiny bowl I looked at small pet dishes, pinch pots, and more. I’m so glad I found a great little dish to put my meds in. Buying more. The sticky label ob the base does cover the fuzzy - it can stay there as I read that pulling the sticker off pulls the fuzzy off too.

This bowl is very cute and was looks exactly as described/pictured. Like many other reviewers, I was a little surprised by just how small the bowl is. It definitely doesn't hold more than 1/8 cup. I intended to use it as a food bowl for my pet rabbit, but it's still too small for that. I love the white marble look, there is a soft padding on the bottom to hold it still on a smooth counter, and overall it's a pretty little bowl. Until I find another purpose for it, I'll hold onto it, but I would definitely evaluate your intentions for use of the bowl considering the size!

I read the reviews and knew it would be small. Bought it anyway, smaller than I was thinking but it works just fine for our salt and pepper. It’s very heavy for its size. No issues with it, we use it every day when cooking. Matches our kitchen very well. Overall happy with it.

I bought this bowl while zipping through the site buying a number of things cooking related. I guess you could say it was an impulse buy. I thought it would be great to have the three bowls for salt, pepper, etc. on the counter when cooking. What I didn't realize is that you only get one bowl for the price, not three as in the picture. My bad for not paying attention I guess.I bought the black bowl and it arrived with two small nicks. It wasn't wrapped in anything protective -- just thrown in the box with everything else. I'm planning to keep it rather than go through the expense of shipping it back. Otherwise it seems nice and high quality. Not sure now whether I want to get the white one to complete the set.Finally -- why is it that companies put tags and stickers in hard to remove spots. The bottom of the bowl has a neoprene pad (so it doesn't slide around on your counter). It's nice, but they slapped a sticker on there that says "hand wash only" that is impossible to remove without also peeling off bits and pieces of the pad. Unfortunate.

I was looking for a little ring bowl to put in our kitchen, so that we would have a safe place to keep our rings while cooking or cleaning. This bowl is unobtrusive and small, so it doesn't take a lot of space. It's also deep enough to hold all of our rings (images show two and you can see there's plenty of space for a third). It has a felt bottom, so the bowl doesn't move around on the counter. For the price (< $10), it was well worth the purchase!

Beautiful pinch bowls, but a little small.

Love this little marble bowl. I have it sitting on my marble tray and place my daily jewellery in it. I highly recommend and will buy it again.

Black or white marble, smooth and cool. Non-slip and very tactile. i love using them.
