Clean game for everyone to play
Clean. No magic, no witches, no spells, no fantasy, no sex talk, no bad words / cussing. Great family game. You can modify the rules easily to fit your family preference. Game art is cool - wooden tokens for your vitality, weapon & tools cards, special "identity" cards. Story telling of new game events is clever and often funny. Easy to teach new people. Kids ages 7 (if they are clever) and up. We are all adults and teens and love the game.

Surprisingly Fun, Simple, Fairly Quick to Play. All Ages.
My daughters (20 & 21 y.o.) and I love to play games. My husband, not so much. So finding a game that he's down to participate in can be a bit of a challenge. This game is SUPER easy to learn (like, SO easy), turns are fast, and there is no threat that it will last for hours. It's very simple in concept, but somehow very fun to play. Each person takes turns reading the cards, and it's cooperative (unless someone decides they want to go it on their own and try to survive without sharing!), so it keeps everyone involved. Also, it's well made and the graphic design is simple but pretty, and the cards well written. We don't have any little guys around, but this would be one of those games you could play with a 4 year old and a 94 year old at the same time. Kudos to the gamemakers for a nicely crafted family game.

Brilliant co-op game
Fantastic co-op game where you must work with your teammates to survive the nights. This game requires willing participants and a slight amount of experience in board gaming.

Hilarious. Highly Recommend for Family or Friend Game Night.
Money extremely well spent. We are weeping with mirth. We just got this in today and cracked it open. It is hilarious. Fun, great game play, and comedic happenings abound. Call me Captain Cranberry. iykyk (We bought their Strawberry Sunset game first and this game came recommended in that deck.) Cannot recommend highly enough. Buy this for a fun family game sesh. Also, game elements are great quality. Wood tokens, pleasant card decks.

Easy to pick up, very fun party game.
Very fun (mostly) cooperative tabletop game. We had a blast playing. Only four stars because the brand new box was short a heart token piece. We were still able to play with six players by substituting in a coin as a two sided token, but disappointed that the brand new box was missing a piece. Gameplay was 5*!

Fun game for everyone!
This game is SO much fun!! It's great for the whole family, or a game night with friends! It is easy to learn and seriously fun for everyone! I love the little pieces to it as well- they make it much more interactive than just playing a regular card game!

It was an instant hit!
This game was an instant hit in my family! We loved the gameplay, the story, and the ominous little details in the cards. The collaborative aspect makes this game very fun for us, we enjoyed trying to establish some sort of strategy and pooling our resources. The unexpected Night cards made the game really challenging, since it was almost impossible to control what could happen in a given moment. The Madness cards were fun, even if some of them made the game quite difficult to play at times. Quality is great: the wooden pieces feel nice to the touch, the cards are nicely printed and beautifully designed. We reach for this game quite frequently and always have a great time, even if we are sometimes lost to the island! We got the Spirits expansion and love the added gameplay. Fully recommend getting both if you can!

Such a fun game!
This is such a fun game! It does take a second to get used to, but once you get it it’s hours of fun. I bought it for a girls night and trying to work together was a hoot. The madness cards had us laughing hysterically and the descriptions on the foraging cards were excellent. We played four or five rounds in two hours. It’s either a really fast game or a short game- just depends on your luck! The box itself is smaller than your average board game, but it’s mostly cards so not a lot of playing space is needed either. Fun for all ages.

I have a pair of the pickiest kids in the world. Typically they don't want to play the same game ever. But they both like this. Instructions are easy. Set up, easy. Challenging, yes. We've only succeeded a few times. But that's good. You shouldn't win every time or you'd tire of it. It's good fun and also teaches kids how to lose but also work as a team!

It's retry quick to pick up. There's a good YouTube video which demos how to play. Ravine is quick and changeable. It can cause subtle group friction but also offers comic outbursts. It also gets quite addictive. There's usually someone in the group that won't stop playing until you win. You can also gear the games difficulty to your own needs. If there are fewer people in the group you could give extra lives to make it easier or change the number of night cards to change the difficulty. We have also played this with more than the recommended players, just divvy up the lives. It makes it harder but the more people the more fun.

To keep it short and simple (like the game itself): You read the manual in 2 minutes, spend 5 minutes playing your first game, then 15 more minutes playing three more games until you finally win one. Then you browse through the manual again seeing if there is anything more to do/experience in this game. No? Okay... Then you spend another 15 minutes going back go Amazon, request refund and another 15 to print the label and send it back. That's around one hour of your life wasted. If you are looking for a good survival game with replayability character and a great story, have a look at Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island.

A fun and quick game for a small party. Some rules are not clear but I think you can add your own one
