These whiskey stones are great. They come in a wonderful box that is amazing for presentation. They function exactly as intended, they don't chill the beverage rather bring it down to a nice cool room temp. I so appreciate this company. When my order was lost in transit Mr. Thorsen was good enough to ship me another set so that I can have the experience of the whiskey stones. The stones were a gift for someone so I was very excited to be able to have the stones to give.

I used it few times so far and they are great!Always sitting in that little velvet sack in the freezer and ready to use! Do not drown the stones, I pour just a hair below the cubes line and it works for me. It doesn’t effect the flavor just brings the nice chill to your whiskey, bourbon or what ever you choose to drink. Great as a gift too, for people that like the original flavor of their drink, like me.

I purchased these as a gift for a friend. He really like the idea of using them instead of ice. He said they didn't keep his drink cold. I told him to try using more next time. He hasn't complained about him again. I think overall he's very satisfied with them. I would definitely give these as a gift again. May need more stones though, especially if serving more than one drink.

Bought this as a gift for my whiskey-loving friend and she loves it! Comes in a sturdy case with a cloth bag and tongs. Great, authentic quality for an affordable price! Would definitely recommend.

First things first...these are NOT portable ice cubes folks. They won't chill your drink like an ice cube will because they are not meant to. What they do, they do very well. They bring your whisky to just below room temperature where it's supposed to be. Ok, enough said on that. Is this a cool gift? Yup. The little wooden box it comes in is cool when u first open it, and the logo on the outside makes it a cool decoration piece for your bar. Each of the cubes has two hammers on them so they have a little more of a look to them compared to the plain grey ones. Overall, very cool little set that looks good and do the job they are meant to do.

If you are looking to replace the ice in your scotch on the rocks, this will not do it. Several reviews for this and competitive products complained because they didn't realize that these are for drinks that you would normally consume neat, such as single malts. Three or four vs a shot of whiskey is just right for getting the drink below room temperature. I really like that benefit. I also echo the comments of one reviewer who warned to wash them thoroughly first. I didn't, so that first use was not a success. The presentation is nice if you are giving these as a gift.

I was very excited to gift this to my friend. I tested the rocks in my freezer overnight and tried using the next day but did not cool my drink enough, almost nothing. Tiny granite rocks. Very nice box but mine came a bit broken from the wood that separated the compartment. Great idea but it was a little to cheap for me.

Arrived on time. Perfect small gift for any guy or girl that drinks whiskey. The quality is great and keeps drinks cold.
