Q: Is there any risk the magnets could demagnetize credit cards inside it or nearby in the bag?

Have used these for at least 8 plus years and began using them because my cards were being demagnetized! Never had a problem since I began using them, and my mom uses one too. I actually have 2 because I take one when I travel for business, and then keep one in my purse when I am not traveling. Love, love these! So far the Padike Business Card Holders protect all my credit cards, membership cards, anything with a magnetic strip.

Yes, several credit cards fit perfectly.

Q: i bought another that indicated it ws 0.9 i. but it was only0.5 in. thick. is this truly 0.9 in. thick?

I measured mine with my digital calipers. The outside measurement is 0.828125 in. So it is not 0.9 in thick, but it is very close. It is a very nice business card holder that is well made and holds a good amount of cards. I am very happy with mine.

Q: How many business cards can this hold? Would you say 100 or more?

No it can not hold 100 cards. I have 32 cards in mine and is does not have room for anymore. Even though I have to refill often I still love the case and great quality.
