Great shoes
I thoroughly recommend these shoes. They are strong, comfortable and very waterproof. They are a good fit, and have good grip. I wear them every day when walking my dog in and around nearby woods. In light of the recent storm Darragh and all the rain that has brought, they gave stood up extremely well.

Look heavier than they really are
I prefer wider fitting shoes for hiking, and these are definitely that. They look big and wide on your feetBut on a warm summers day, I did 20+ miles with these on the first wear. They were really comfortable, I didnt have any blisters and I didnt think of them as being heavy at all. I didnt think about them at all whilst wearing themA few days later, I did a four mile wander after a rain storm, through wet grass and ferns, and my feet stayed dryThe best recommendation I can give, is that these are now my new favourite hiking shoe. I seriously doubt I will need to look at other brands, as these have all the features I need like grip, comfort, waterproofness whilst not making my feet too hot, their appearance isn’t too bad (they are unmistakeably hiking footwear though), and appear to be very durable

Super sandals but poor quality laces
Really comfortable sandals with reinforced area in the toe area. They are perfect for those of us with wide feet. Disappointed with the quality of the laces, however, - and , frustratingly , Keen don't sell replacement laces so you are forced to buy inferior ones online!!! Please take note Keen Plc. I'd give 5 stars otherwise.

Very comfortable and long lasting
We have an autistic son who used to go through shoes at an alarming rate. A couple of years ago we were recommended to try Keens and - wow! - what a difference. They fit well and the reinforced toes stand up to quite a bashing. They have also kept his feet dry while walking in the Yorkshire Dales. On average, a pair will last about 16 to 18 months which is a big change from a pair every month. I would guess these would also stand up to hillwalking and other outdoor pursuits and also work wear.

Fit for my purpose, but soles start to come off after one year of medium intensity use
** UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS OF USE **Soles are becoming off. I have fixed this using shoe glue. Today I am going to glue some more. I think these shoes are approaching end of life. Positives: (1) fit for intended use (disc golf -- I needed a shoe that would be tolerant to me dragging the front of the foot when throwing forehands); (2) good walkability and fit. Negatives: (1) glue starts giving in way too early. Glued shoes are cheaply made, so you overpay every time; (2) like many, these shoes are "waterproof". Meaning they cannot deal with wet grass. Would I buy again? Likely not. I liked the toe cover, which is a unique feature. But these are cheaply made shoes. For this winter, I bought heavier boots that I can recommend unreservedly: Meindl Burma's. Those shoes I cannot recommend highly enough. They are actually waterproof. Best quality shoes I ever bought. My previous pair lasted from 2000 until 2022 in regular use -- with the original shoelaces still in play today! The new pair will outlive myself. Expensive in the short term but cheap in the long term. Totally worth the money. Only thing is, they are too warm for summer and spring use but unbeaten in winter conditions. Still looking for a good disc golf shoe for Fall and Spring conditions. Will explore Meindl's lighter models.** UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR OF USE **After 1 year of use and maybe 100+ rounds of disc golf and use during travel, the sole of the shoe has started to separate from the body. Apparently the glue has given in. This is a disappointment, as the shoes are otherwise in a good shape and continue to be reasonably waterproof. I do not think that I should see this problem so soon: another year's use was expected. I will try to repair with a glue first. The tip of the shoe has held up well for my forehands, so a bit disappointed, as the seamless cover of the tip of the shoe was important for me.* * *I bought these for disc golf, as I tend to break shoes because of dragging my toe when throwing forehands. In virtually all shoes, the sole is glued to the top, and if you drag your toe, the sole gets separated. In this model, the sole extends well over the tip of the shoe and covers toes, so there is less risk of separation.I have used these for a couple of months now, over perhaps 20-30 rounds. No problem with sole separation. Some reviews have complained about less than expected durability, but I have not noticed problems thus far. A positive surprise has been reasonably good water resistance: most shoes claiming to be water resistant get soaked with first contact with wet grass. These have not thus far. Note that I have applied a solid dollop of leather wax on the leather bits, which has probably helped. If I run into issues later, will report, but so far so good.

Good Fit but don't wear them if it's WET!
I wore them around the house for a day or so, to bed them in a bit, as I had found the a little tight across my toes.Following this,, i have now been wearing them for a week for dog walking and find them comfortable and supportingI can't speak for full waterproofing but they are OK in light rain and puddles.(See update below)They are sturdy built and seem to be good quality.**UPDATE: STARS reduced from 4 to 2**I wore them for about 3/4 hour today for walking my, dog in moderate rain and wet but not long, grass. My feet were soaked!I would like to know the makers definition of waterproof but these are nowhere near and not even water resistant! I am considering whether to return them, as in other conditions they are OK but the main reason I bought them was for the wide fit and waterproofing.
