I have two of these outlets. One stopped working a few weeks after I received it. I emailed support to ask about their warranty process ([email protected]) and was delighted to see how simple it was. Within 2 days I had a new switch in my hands and was back up and running.The setup and app can be hit or miss, but work perfectly when finally connected. WiFi on switch is better than Belkin WeMo smart outlets and work well outside.Romy from Teckin's support department was great at resolving my issue and I highly recommend this smart outlet. He followed up a few days after my new switch arrived to ensure everything was working well. Great service and not something I usually get when purchasing from unknown companies.

This is the 9th TECKIN branded product I’ve purchased for smart IoT devices. I’ve had this one sitting outside in the Florida elements for over 6 months and it still looks and behaves like it’s brand new. The WiFi signal its gets outside is pretty decent and I haven’t had any issues with water intrusion even though it always gets rained on.I’ve now substituted all non TECKIN branded smart plugs out for them since the TECKIN branded ones are not only more reliable but are more responsive to the Google Home integration.This plug is great because you can individually name each socket so Google home or Alexa can turn each socket on and off individually or set a timer for each socket. If you want to have both sockets on the same name for Google Home or Alexa to toggle both, you can do that too!The Smart Home app is super easy to use and the devices pop into the Google Home app as soon as they are updated in the TECKIN app.

I purchased this device to control two neon lights in my garage.The device is priced competitively for a well-constructed, weather-resistant 2-socket outdoor outlet. It arrived promptly, and was packaged in a nice retail box. The instructions are clear. I am using Smart Life linked to Google Assistant via IFTTT. Setup for Smart Life and IFTTT was simple. It did take Google Assistant a couple of tries to understand my IFTTT applet (this had nothing to do with the smart outlet). The device now works perfectly, with voice control.I now own several Teckin smart devices, and I'm quite pleased with all of them.

Although we live in SoCal in San Diego, it's currently in the 30s at night/early morning and we put our dog out when we go to work. Due to this I got her a heated dog pad/bed but it takes 30 mins to warm up and I didn't want it on all day so I needed help. I ordered this and am completely satisfied with how it's working out.I plugged in the dog bed to one and out Christmas lights to the other. Named them accordingly. A little annoying to have to have yet ANOTHER smart app to then link to Alexa but that's alright. Downloading the app and adding the device went smoothly. It's just like pairing another else. Hold down the button until it blinks faster than usual and then your app will discover the device.Works great with Alexa. We have Christmas lights on this plug and another plug in our shed. Both named "Christmas Lights". I tell Alexa and turn on the Christmas lights and everything works fine. Same thing when I tell her Dog Bed. I have an echo dot at my desk at work so now I can turn it all on and off from anywhere!

This outdoor smart plug works great and was super easy to connect and use. I love that each outlet socket can be controlled and programmed separately. Remember that it is controlled by your wifi, so it still needs to be close to your house and within range of your wifi signal, which was easy to do for us on our back porch to control some outdoor lighting around our sunroom. Highly recommend!

Great for scheduling our outdoor lights 🙂 Rather than running an extension cord out of the house plugged into an old school timer we just use the Teckin Outdoor Smart Plug with our backyard outlet.The Teckin Smart Outdoor Plug allow us to schedule the lights to turn on at sunset and off just before sunrise through the Smart Life app. No more adjusting those annoying little mechanical outlet timer tabs by 30 minute increments.It will be nice to not have to go outside in the snow to make adjustments when using the Teckin Smart Plugs with our Christmas lights. And combined with Alexa I already have a few ideas for some spooky Halloween decorations to control with our voice when kids come to the door. 😱👻🎃

When I added the BT "Rock" speakers to our backyard, I discovered I needed a way to run our waterfall on a timer and the speakers on a switch using only one outlet since the other was used for LED spots up-lighting our robellini palms.This worked out perfectly. Installation was a snap since I don't use "Big Brother" devices. I simply downloaded the "Smart Life" app... logged the plug unit to our WiFi and followed the instructions.Now the waterfall and speakers are Independent from each other. The unit worked the first time out the box.
