Loving this pipe! Well made, without any worry of metal shavings on the inside of the bowl due to some screwed in metal piece that occasionally needs removed and cleaned. NOPE! This is the way to go, no metal, comes with starter filter, cleaners, a stand, everything you need all rounded off with a beautiful dark brown (suede?) drawstring travel bag. Best quality to buy if living on a budget.

Excellent pipe, especially for the price. Couldn’t be happier. It’s a solid workhorse daily use pipe and it broke in easily and quickly. It also comes with everything a pipe smoker would need except what you put in it to smoke. Will be ordering another for woodcarving. Highly recommend!

This pipe is inexpensive yet well made, however, as soon as I tried it (without charcoal filter) I noticed a really unpleasant smell/taste, and some tingling in my mouth and on my lips. It looked clean out of the box, but just to be sure I washed the stem thoroughly and rubbed the inside of the shank with a brush and pipe cleaner, though nothing came out as it's just raw wood. I also roasted the steel mesh filter with a torch lighter to burn any potential coating, cleaned the bowl, and tried again with fresh tobacco. Same smell and bite. My best guess is that the carbon coating is initially releasing some byproducts, and some nasty ones at that! My other carbon-coated pipes didn't have that issue on first uses. The last thing left to try was to carefully cook the coating with a torch lighter, and indeed it released some smelly smoke, so I let it cool and cooked it again a few times until it stopped releasing smoke, and so I finally managed to get rid of the smell. It could be that the coating hadn't fully cured before the pipe was boxed and sealed, I don't know, the shank says it was made in November 2022, but I definitely wouldn't recommend using it without cooking the coating thoroughly. Normally I wouldn't go through all that trouble, but it's such a nice compact pipe with decent foyer and wood that I wanted to give it a proper try.

For the price at this time under $20 is really good deal you get a lot for it and the pipe I received is pretty good I definitely recommend

This was a complete smoking kit complete with spare mesh, stand and pipe cleaners at a very reasonable price. Makes a nice gift.

The photo in the advertisement looks a lot nicer than the actual product. The pipe is just OK but the stem does not fit snugly into the bowl as it should. I will not be buying this product again.

Sure, it's an inexpensive ($20~ish) pipe, but I really like it. It's nicely built, has a nice sized bowl, and smokes really well. The pipe did not come pre-smoked, so it took me a day or two to break it in, but I'm very happy with it. I am going to purchase a few more so that I can rotate on a daily basis and let them rest between smokes.
