Great ingredients for creating word of mouth
This book gives me a new perspective in terms of building word of mouth. This is a grey area for me but now after reading Contagious I can say I am very well aware of what and how of word of mouth. As author says it is not a success mantra but each chapter is an ingredient that helps in creating word of mouth. The book is synced with the latest technologies nowadays available. Examples from daily life advertisements are sited in support of every chapter. Also it can make one start linking products that how they are becoming contagious. A must read for an entrepreneur, marketers or any person who has a product or service to offer.

This book offers a rare look behind the curtain: in an easy-to-understand but never too much simplified way the reader will find a lot of informations about the way our feelings and brain work and the way we react and interact. You'll find answers to questions, e.g.: Why are we suddenly attracted by something, where starts and ends our natural behaviour and how can it be used to force the processes of fascination, attraction, selling etc. The book is a fine example that an analysis of aspects of the human nature can be described as entertaining as analytic. Read this book and you'll have two wonderful experiences: spending time learning a lot about the reasons of human behaviour and thereafter, you'll join a second "joyride": You'll be able to understand why certain events and campaigns will have nearly exactly predictable effects to your friends but not to you ;-)

Un excellent livre sur le sujet de la communication, la transmission et propagation d'une information. Ce livre intéressera les entrepreneurs, les marketers, les publicitaires, les managers, les communicants, les enseignants, les scientifiques et ingénieurs ... . Je le recommande, et je conseille aussi de lire juste avant cet autre excellent livre : "Ces idées qui collent: Pourquoi certaines idées survivent et d'autres meurent" de Chip Heath et Dan Heath. Ces deux livres se complètent à merveille.

Honestly one of the best marketing books i've ever read. I brought me to some really good ideas so to me its worth every penny. The stories are fun and its definitly not a boring book.
