Perfect fit to replace the motor in one of my fiber optic Christmas trees. This motor turns the multi-color wheel that changes the color of the fiber optics. Runs smoothly and silently.

Works perfectly for my application

I used these to repair a twenty year old fiber optic Halloween decoration. The motor spins a color wheel in front of a projector lamp. The motor fit perfectly, is actually better made than the original motor and best of all, is whisper quiet.

When I first hooked them up, the motors just shook until I gave the shaft a turn and then it would turn until it was turned off. Once I turned it back on it just shook again until I give it a nudge. It's like the motor didn't know whether to go clockwise or counter-clockwise and was stuck until it is nudged in one direction or the other. HOWEVER: after running for a bit (maybe 6 or 7 times for a few minutes each time), both motors now start right up and they are smooth and very quiet!. I'm glad I didn't send them back. Good buy and works great after a bit of breaking in (maybe from non-use for so long?). I'm happy with these motors.

This works great. Hard to find item. Replaces fiber optic color wheel motors. Just make sure get the right voltage and shaft size and type. Now if could find a 5 volt one and the color wheel gels.

The two I have received do not work. They both were tested at 12v they both do not work . The quality is not there. They are not a value the size matches but they do not work.

I was happy that the description showed the dimensions, I measured carefully and the results paid off. It takes a few weeks to arrive from China, but we'll be ready for our Christmas decorations in December.

These motors run fine by themselves, but the guage of the wires is too small to allow any additional items in the circuit, such as a lamp. If anything else is added to the circuit the motor won't run.
