This is a full tang measuring 0.158 thick with a 1095 Crovan flat ground blade. The spine is not quite 90 degrees but will throw sparks off of a ferrocerium rod.

Does blade taper transversely from middle to both edge and back as an original Kephart does? "A slight sedge at the spine" Is that a typo for swedg?

No, it does not have a double convex blade profile as the original. It is a flat grind with secondary bevel.
