The m thumb whole is too small and puts a lot of pressure on the webbing of my thumb, but my wrist has good support. The L is too big for my wrist.

Mine as well was too small. I was going to reorder but decided on a brand that actually has Velcro to size to my wrist. They maybe need to explain that they run small in their advertising.

Does anyone have issues with thumb area? Cutting off circulation. Wonder if medium will work better but im a small.

I also have a small and would think a medium would be too big. I have not had a problem with it cutting off circulation, but when I first was wearing them it would cut into the Indentation of my thumb and cause some discomfort. To relieve this issue, I just adjusted the way the thumb hole is position on my mhand. It still gives me the support I was looking for, without the discomfort

Aside from the wrist do they also compress the hands? As I am looking for compression on the entire hand.

It actually compresses the hands more so than it does the wrist
