Recliner Battery

I bought 2 batteries for my new sectional sofa as I found out from the delivery service that such a thing existed since I was complaining about the unsightly and unsafe extension cords to power my sofa. I read a number of reviews on this site and overall, felt this was the right company to go with. Shipping was fast. However, one of the 2 batteries did not work. The light was red and never turned green despite leaving it charging for awhile and watching. the other battery charged just fine and worked great. Needless to say, was not happy and contacted the company. Here is where most companies can distinguish themselves from good to not so good. The response was quick, apology for malfunction, and quickly sent out a replacement. Received in short order and when charged, green light came on and worked like a charm! I understand when you sell large volume of units, you inevitably are going to get some that do not work. It is how you handle these situations which is what matter to me and I felt they handled my situation very good. One charge will last me appx 6 weeks and I use my sofa alot for reclining so to me, it was well worth it and a great purchase

I installed the battery 6/30/21 (actually 2 batteries for 2 recliners) and charged them as directed. My wife uses her recliner multiple times a day while I use it quite a bit less. However, over a month and half later (8/17/21), the recliners work perfectly using only the battery. No recharge yet! 2 replies to some other comments: ...this battery does not come with a battery charger (although you can order it with one)...Probably not an issue for you since you should be able to use the wired power supply that came with your furniture that will plug into the input port of the battery ...there is no digital power level indicator on the battery to let you know how much power is left. Since you'll probably zip tie or place the battery within the recliner/furniture...you wouldn't see it anyway. Secondly, the battery supposedly beeps when it is getting low and you operate the recliner...that should be enough to let you know to recharge it.

The battery is simple to install and the battery lasts for months without the need to recharge. However, the recliner is rarely used. The downside is, I can not get the battery to charge while plugged into the recliner. Therefore, it is necessary to disconnect the battery from the recliner to charge and then reconnect. Otherwise, very pleased with the purchase. The first time I tried charging (without disconnecting) I contacted the seller to let them know that I couldn’t get the battery to charge. The seller was very prompt to respond to let me know how to charge the battery by disconnecting from the recliner and plug straight into a wall outlet.

After charging the battery for 24 hours the first time, it lasted for 22 days with minimal usage. After charging it again, it lasted for about a day. I tried o charge it four or five subsequent times with varied results; between a few hours to less than a day of battery life. When I contacted Amazon, exactly 32 days after the delivery date, I was told that due to it being pas the 30 day window, I could not return it and would have to use the four year Asurion warranty that i purchased from Amazon. I then contacted Asurion and was told that they do not warranty batteries, but being that Amazon sold me the warranty, I could return the battery and they would refund the money that I paid for the battery. So , bottom line, I get my money back for the useless battery, but I still have no battery to power my new recliner and I am out the 15 bucks that I paid for the worthless Asurion warranty. C'mon Amazon, you are better than that.

The battery was easy to install and works well. Lasts about 3 weeks between charges, with no USB. This was just what I needed to be able to place the recliner in the middle of the room. It's only been a month since we received it, but it seems to be a good quality product!

I bought 2 Staigo battery packs for my motion furniture. They arrived quickly and were easy to charge and onstall. It is so nice to get the extension cords off the floor. They were both a fire and a trip hazard. The listing made it easy to understsnd that all I needed to order was the batteries, not extra cables. These batteries listed the highest electrical putput I could find. I haven't had them long enough to comment on length of charge.

Easy to use, easy to install. The charge has lasted after several uses. The only issue is the cord is too short. I was afraid it would come unplugged because it just hung from the plug. I purchased a recliner power cord extension, also available at Amazon. Now I was able to mount the battery under the recliner and it is hidden from view.

Fits right into the back of sofa so hidden, and can be recharged right in place. No need to unhook and move. Works great. Did need the the extender cable to work with our sofa. We use both sides several times per day and it worked for over two weeks before needing re charged. Green light does blink when charging and never goes out or solid which is confusing but we just charge for 3-4 hrs to get full charge
