Master LockBCO0303 Biscuit Door Knob with Lock, Polished Brass

This replaced a 20 year old identical Master Lock door knob. It is the exact door knob to what it replaced. I am glad I was able to find the exact replacement. The finish in very nice. It is not as heavy as the original but I anticipate it will do the job very well.

First off, after installing it, I tried it out and it feels like the internal parts were not properly lubed. The operation is not as smooth as any other Master Lock knob in my (25 yo) house. It's not worth the trouble for me to take it apart and lube it, but certainly worth mentioning here.I bought this to replace a Master Lock (same brand) knob that doesn't lock. I assumed the rectangular plate would line up with the hole (shallow mortise) in the side of the door, but I ended up needing to widen the left side by about 1mm for it to fit flush. Also, the style of screw is different (better). (The old ones had two tread sizes on the same screw.) Probably nothing to do with the product, but the screwing the strike plate on jamb side caused the jamb to bow (I guess cuz it wasn't shimmed properly), so now when the door is closed there is a noticeable bow where there was none before.

Durable, aesthetically pleasing, brass finish door knobs. Easy to install. Thank you!

-Master Lock brand name- Replaced both parts on the front entry door. Obviously a lot of the work was done because it was just a REPLACEMENT vs a new install so there was minimal preparation work, but it was still surprisingly easy to install. Basically I removed the old lock set and doorknob and installed this one in it's place. Everything lined up and all the new hardware I needed was included.- It feels quite solid compared to the dated lockset I had on the door. It came with 4 keys which can unlock the deadbolt and the doorknob so there is no need for two keys.- The "nightwatch" feature is not clear to me. I did not however look into how to operate this function. If I do look into it I will update this review.- Overall very pleased with the product, fast shipping with Prime and the install time (about 45 minutes start to finish).

I bought this door lock because it matches the rest of mine in the house. I just recently installed 6 panel doors in my house to upgrade everything. I had one door with the old lock that was put in when the house was built. Since then Master Lock has gone out of the production of manufacturing door locks. I wanted to match the ones I put on a few years ago. I was lucky to find them on the Amazon website. Now everything is the same and I am a happy camper. Lynn From Saint Louis MO.

For the price, these were pretty nice knobs. We bought both the privacy and the passage knobs, replacing all the knobs in our house. They will suffice for our needs, though not as heavy/solid as some we've seen. Good price, however.

This came as a set. The deadbolt works wonderfully. The door handle on the inside keeps coming off when you try to open the door. In other words in the morning when I unlock the awesome deadbolt and then unlock the door as I pull the doorknob it pops off. I then just pop it back on. I dont know mabye its a lemon otherwise its a good product. I ordered just the deadbolt for my other door and it rocks.Peace

I purchased 3 locks all together and installed all three of them. My only complaint is that one of the locks was bent in the inside and it made it hard for the door to close so I had to rig it to make it work. Other than that they are working fine.

I ordered this lock and it does not come with Keys.This model BCO303 seems like a bedroom / bathroom lock which you can lock from the inside but does not have keys. The key hole if you look closely is a perfect rectangle and not shaped like a key.I think you need the BCO103 model 'Entry Door Knob if you want keys. I wonder how many of these ended up being returned because the description mentions keys.

It's cheap, has a pleasant shape and does the job. Note that is also relatively easy to unlock from outside using a coin where other models often require a pin. It is exactly what we wanted, but if you need more privacy, this may be a deal breaker.My main issue with it that it tends to produce grinding or rattling noises when being used. We have a 10 year old lock that has the same shape but different finish and it's not nearly as noisy.
