I cannot believe how this heats up to the highest level in seconds. I cooked 5 hot dogs in minutes...thoroughly! I bought the infrared. I just got it yesterday, used it today for the 1st time, so I don't know about withstanding the test of time. So easy to use.and easy to clean. It's pretty lightweight, so I don't expect it to take much wear and tear Lots of plastic. I have a beautiful cook top range, with 5 burners and two of the burners switch to two different sizes each. It looks especially nice when it's clean and shiny. I got tired of cleaning the whole top when I used only one pan So I saw this appliance and thought, why not try this and use it for those "one pan" times, so that all I have to clean is one little burner. OMG what a great idea. It's very modern and sleek looking too, so it looks good sitting right out on top of my existing range. I'm going to try to use it every day for about 2 weeks and see if I think it will last. If I like it we'll enough, I may buy the 2 burner one. Today I love it and am very happy with my purchase. I am Very Glad I opted for the infrared one. I think that might be why it's so fast and even to heat up. Great buy. Price if definitely right. Very fast delivery..less than 24 hrs.

We are building a new house and are currently tiny living, hence no oven or cook top. I read all the reviews on several cook tops and finally decided upon this one as it appeared to be much more reliable. It does cost a bit more, but now after using it for more than a month, it was worth it! It truly is just like having a larger electric burner on a stove. It heats very quickly and I have used it daily making eggs for breakfast, grilled sandwiches, boiling water for pasta, boiled eggs, sauteed vegetables and chicken. It's easy to clean up and the unit does not get hot under it, however we placed it on a tile square to lift it off the wood cabinet. It heats up very quickly and I like the option to cook from 100 to 1,500 watts, all controllable by pressing the controls up or down. Once in my new home, I can see using this on our island if we are doing a fondue or if my family or friends are cooking something together.

I have used it on a very regular basis for about 4.5 months and really like it so far. It provides great power and consistent heat making cooking very easy. It heats up very fast and I'm able to adjust the temperature appropriately as needed. It's lightweight, but feels sturdy even with a large or heavy pan on top of it. I like the modern, clean look as well. My only complaint about it is the temperature controls and really that isn't a big deal. I'm not a seasoned cook so I always have to look up what temperature things need to cook at to adjust the control because it uses wattage instead of traditional "low", "medium" "high" temperature settings. I just keep a picture handy of what temperatures correlate to the wattage to make it easier for me, but is worth pointing out in case someone may have trouble understanding this. It's very easy and intuitive to adjust the temperature once you are comfortable with what wattage to use. Overall, I highly recommend this burner. I'll be honest with you, I was nervous to buy a brand that's not more mainstream/sold in big box stores, but I'm glad I took the chance on this as this is really a great burner.

Terrible stove can not use both at the same on high settings. One of them will turn off if you decide to use both of them. maybe I received a flawed one but it should have worked without an issue. it looks nice a clean. love the black look. the size and storage to put it away is not bad to stash or keep outside. the value for the money could be lower because of the wattage issue that happens when using both stoves. I would give it 5 stars if it both of them worked at the same time. the thing cooks well and fast. just be careful if you scratch the bottom of the stove its easy to make them scatched up because of the glass shiny look. so dont be rought with your pots, make sure your not stirring your pot around like a chef. The Thickness of the stove is great not too bulky at all. Overall this items looks safe does not feel like a fire hazard. would give it a better rating like i said, if the manufacturer reads this send me another and i will change my review.

Sleek, value for money, easy to clean, heats up and cools down quickly and does it's job! Keep the box as it's help in storing this bad boy in a small space.

boiling water takes only a few minutes! really usefull! it seems slow to heat up but once warm it cooks fine! .. also perfect for slow cooking .. soup, beans..etc .the only drawback I found yet is the price!
