False readings
These don’t work. I know I have hard water in my kitchen faucet because I’ve had it tested before, but it shows the same color as the rest of the house (which is softened). Don’t waste your money on these.

Not sure
I tested my water before and after I had a water softener installed in my home. It showed the same. I couldn't take a star off this item because I can't know if the strips are at fault or not. Positive - you get a lot of strips and the results are shown clearly and quickly.

So i haven't compared this to anything to know how accurate the reading is..but it was easy to use and comes at a great price!

Terrible
Terrible. The color I got on the strip doesn’t match any on the color chart. Read the same for my faucet water as bottled water. Don’t waste your money
