Have used various Caramel syrups. This one is the one preferred out of a half dozen various brands. Comes in a glass bottle, snap seal and good taste. There is an organic variant from Monin. Plan to try next.

Very good product, but the pumps I have for another brand don't screw on to the Monin bottle.

I purchased this because I'm trying to find a more fiscally responsible solution of making my own pistachio iced latte rather than purchasing it seasonally at Starbucks, but it taste nothing like the pistachio sauce that Starbucks uses. Some reviews say that it taste similar, but I can promise you that it does not. It has a generic, nutty flavor, akin to marzipan. It is overly sweet for 1 oz pour, which is the recommended amount. I even tried 1/2 an oz and it was still too strong. Even the smell of it is quite strong. It mixes well with milk and coffee just fine. If you're looking for a true pistachio flavor, I would not recommend this syrup. It tastes too artificial; it could be because the ingredients do not list pistachio, only 'natural flavors'. The glass bottle it came in is a nice touch though, and I can appreciate the quality of the syrup, but it's just not for me. I'm giving it 4 stars because the quality of the product itself is good, shipping was fast, and the pricing is okay. It loses a star only because I did not like the taste, and I feel that the product description is a little misleading.

This caramel syrup is really good. It tastes rich and buttery without being overly sweet or fake-tasting like some syrups. I mostly use it in coffee and lattes, and you only need a small pump or splash to get great flavor. It mixes in easily and doesn’t sink to the bottom, which I appreciate. It also works great in iced drinks. I’ve tried a few caramel syrups and this one definitely tastes more “coffee shop quality” at home. The bottle is big, so it lasts a while too. If you like caramel in your drinks, this is an easy recommend.

I'm glad I tried this pistachio syrup because the flavor is fantastic. The problem is that while the flavor is great it's not very strong, so if you want a good pistachio flavor you have to add so much of this syrup that whatever you're adding it to becomes too sweet. Also, at almost $15 for a bottle and considering how much you need to use, it's very expensive. I like it, but it could have a lot more pistachio flavor and cost a lot less. I'm glad I tried it, but very likely won't but it again in its current state and current price.
