Chocolate 1.0 Shake

Came unharmed in excellent packaging - Expiration date a year from delivery - love the taste (chocolate is the only one I've tried) I warm it up and it is like a yummy hot chocolate. I have a very sensitive stomach but this is easy on my stomach and causes no problems. I have some issues with solid foods so this covers all the bases for nutrition - my internist recommended this product - a bit pricy but I'm happy to pay since it solves many of my needs.

I’ve struggled for years trying to find food that wouldn’t upset my digestion and seemingly endless nausea. Now that I’m on a GLP-1, the issue has become compounded and was making my life very hard trying to get proper nutrition I could actually tolerate. I tried protein powders of all kinds, protein drinks, other meal replacement drinks, etc. Finally, after a lot of research, I found Kate Farms. Yes, this shake has sugar, but I can’t stand the monk fruit taste of the various non sugar brands. The chocolate flavor is out of this world good!!! It’s not too thick and I can digest it really well. No gritty texture, just a smooth drink. Feels like I’m drinking a milk shake. I’ll be buying the chocolate again and trying the vanilla too!!!!

Just want to tell you to stock up for winter because the chocolate flavored makes fantastic hot chocolate. Just pour in cup, heat up in the microwave, add a marshmallow if you want to and enjoy! All the satisfaction - all the vitamins and great nutrition!

Shakes have good flavor and are filling. They do contain a lot of sugar which is not ideal.

Shipping was right on time and fast! I ordered 2 of the kate farms chocolate 1.0 ( love this product, tastes great too. Like chocolate Milk) was sent 1, 1.0 chocolate and 1, 1.4 chocolate. Not sure the difference, but will give it a try.

After a car accident left my husband with a broken neck, several fractured vertabrae and a couple of cracked ribs, he spent a month in the ICU at Yale and another month at a top rehab facility. Maintaining adequate caloric intake wearing a neck brace was difficult, especially in light of the fact that his diet has been 100% organic for decades (and he has a sensitive, discerning palate). He only stopped losing weight after the folks at Gaylord Rehab introduced him to Kate Farm's products, and now -- more than a year later -- Kate Farms products are a staple in our house (any flavor or formula, as long as it's chocolate). I agree that Kate Farms products ain't cheap, but these are meal replacement drinks, and when you compare the price of a Kate Farms nutrition drink/shake (or two) to what a meal would cost, they aren't unreasonably priced: One Kate Farms Standard 1.0 Chocolate (costs $3.33, 16 gr protein, 12 gr fat, 38 gr carbs, 325 calories and 260 MG SODIUM) VS One Big Mac (costs $3.99, 25 gr protein, 30 gr fat, 45 gr carbs, 550 calories and 1010 MG SODIUM). Except Kate Farms is healthier -- and the quality of the ingredients is out of this world. I mean it when I say that the Kate Farms drinks saved my husband's life. The Standard Chocolate 1.0 is excellent, and the Chocolate Nutrition Shake and the new Chocolate 1.4 are products that we absolutely have to keep on hand. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been drinking these everyday for quite a while, and I really do like them. They are really a great meal replacement shake. They seem to be the healthiest and most nutritious ready-to-drink product that I've been able to find. They are dairy, soy, and gluten free. They are 100 % vegan and Non-GMO. They also have 18 grams of protein, which I think is great. I really do like the chocolate flavor. Kate Farms Komplete also make a vanilla and coffee flavor. I honestly don't really like the vanilla flavor and since I don't even like regular coffee, I'm asssuming I probably wouldn't like the coffee flavor either, but for me the chocolate flavor is great. When I first started drinking them a year or two ago, the texture was quite gritty, but they still had a good taste. A few months ago, they changed the formula a little, and now it has a smoother texture and not quite as gritty, and it still has the great taste. I hope that Amazon (and Amazon Sellers) continue to carry this product at a reasonable price. If so, I will definitely continue to buy it here.

1st time customer. Medically necessary. Contains Many unhealthy Oils that are contraindicated for anyone much less any with Cardiovascular disease. Despite expiration date 9 months away, I suffered Vomiting attack after consuming 1/2 a containertaken from refrigerator. I had added Kate FARMS Standard to an already home prepared 8oz glass of milk & 1 envelope Instant Breakfast drink. The milk is fine. The Instant Breakfast is fine. I had both from same gallon & box of InstBreakfast. That's all I had consumed before becoming ill. I was not otherwise ill. I did not notice anything "Wrong" when I injested, tasted & swallowed I became ill within 5 hours of drinking KATE FARMS STANDARD. KATE FARMS PEA PLANT BASED PROTEIN. That what was all that was in my stomach & the vomit. Disgusting. Rather terrifying because I am primarily Bedbound. Caregiver had left for the day. No one came to assist. I'll never purchase Kate FARMS again. I was able to "Tolerate" the first 2 drinks a month ago. But I left the rest of sealed containers in refrigerator for a month because I disliked the Pea Taste. I never considered that the remainder might be bad because the Expiration date is 9 months away. I cannot imagine recommending because how does one know what happened? I'm too immobile to take the container to a Lab for Testing. Word to the wise. It tastes awful at best. Then it made n Me ill.
