TPMS sensor worked as advertised

I installed these in a 2011 Ford F350. I could not get them to program to the truck using tire deflation or a relearn tool. I took it to the tire store and they tried three different brands of programmers and was unable to get the truck to accept them. They quited me $300 to put another set of sensors in. Then read the directions..... yeah, they work just fine! You must put the truck into a different programming mode by following the included directions. The "relearn" directions in the vehicle's owners manual using the hazard switch will not work to activate these. After they are programmed, the relearn in your owners manual will work for tire rotations.

At first, I Could not get my F150 to learn these sensors. I tried both learning methods (deflating tires and the Ford learning tool). I know my F150 can read sensors because it has no problem learning/reading the two working sensors currently on the truck. They simply didn't seem to work. I disabled the TPMS system for a few days before trying again Later, I re-enabled the TPMS with the Auto-Learn enabled and drove for 30 minutes, hoping the Auto Learn would work. After stopping, this time I tried the procedure with the brake and ignition (press brake once, ignition on/off, on/off, on/ brake once/off, on/off, on/off, on/off). The TPMS entered training mode and I was able to trigger each sensor with the tool. It seems to be working now. I'm not sure why it finally worked. Initially, I used the oscilloscope feature in FORscan and could see that the sensors were transmitting, The TPMS just wouldn't accept them in training mode. I think re-enabling the TPMS and using the Auto-Learn mode allow the System to accept the sensor ID's, then the training mode allowed me to assign them to each wheel location.

The advertisement for this sensor is misleading at best. These sensors DO require programming and do not work with my 2014 F250. Now instead of getting a "low tire pressure" message, I get a "TPMS Monitor Fault" message. These sensors cannot be "woke up" in order to be programmed to the truck. These are a waste of money but of course, I can't send them back because they are already installed on the truck and it would cost more to have the tires unmounted, the TPMS sensors removed, and the tires remounted. Stick with either OEM or with a reputable company like Autel who actually makes a sensor tool for their TPMS sensors. Contacted the seller to see if they have a tool to wake these sensors and did not receive a response. Buyer beware!!

With my new Winter rims installed. The tire shop had no issue installing these tpms sensors. Great value and fits perfectly for a 2014 Ford CMax.

2013 F150, I only needed one but went ahead and bought 4. It took some trial and error on my part. Once installed, I had to REPROGRAM my sensors and then RELEARN my sensors. This can be done without any special tools On 2010 to 2014 F150 TO REPROGRAM...put key in ignition but do not turn on. Pump the brake once and release. Cycle ignition to on and off three times leaving ignition on on the third time. Pump and release brake again. Cycle three mores times leaving on and you should get a honk. There are lots of videos on RELEARN. Turn ignition on and press hazard button 6 times. You'll get one honk. Dash should say relearn left front tire. Starting with left front tire, let air out of tire till you get a honk. Do the same thing to each tire in this order. After left front, then right front, right rear, left rear. All this needs to be completed in around 2 minutes. When done you should have a message on the dash that says training complete. If you get 2 honks it means retraining failed. This could mean you were to slow and it timed out. This is also a way to find a possible bad sensor. If you get to a tire and keep letting air out and it never honks and then times out.

Les cuento que me funcionaron a la perfección. Quedaron sobre un Focus 2013 SE. Punto importante, no es solo instalarlos, considerar que una vez montados, deberán realizar el “Aprendizaje / Sincronización” para que el auto pueda reconocerlos. En mi caso, se realizó con un scanner Autotel Maxi TPMS, en menos de 5 minutos quedaron listos. Recuerden también que se tiene que realizar el balanceo de las llantas pues, se les agrega un peso pequeño a cada una y las desequilibra.

No funcionan, quizá no tengan batería ya al ser de un modelo de hace más de 10 años, compré hasta 2 herramientas para programación de sensores, intenté también el método de desinflan la llanta poco a poco y nunca se activaron (puse el vehículo siempre en modo aprendizaje)
