My two year old son loves working trucks but is very hard on them. He has broken every plastic and part metal/part plastic truck he's had in short order, so I searched for all die cast metal trucks and found this. I was concerned when I read some reviews about the pins coming out (the pins, like, the pins at the joints? Did they completely fall apart?), but I took a chance and I'm glad they did.He has had them for going on two months and plays with them non-stop, but they are in great shape. And the joints - the parts which broke first one most of the other toy trucks - are holding up well. When other reviewers mentioned pins coming out, they must have meant the metal rods that are part of the hydraulic cylinders. That did happen one, and they were a bit of a pain to get back in, but it hasn't happened since. If your kid plays rough like mine, don't let that stop you; you'll appreciate the overall ruggedness.Like others mentioned, the color is more of a mustard brown than a construction truck yellow, but that's minor.

More than just a toy , very accurate detail and value was a determining factor in my purchase.

Bought for my 2 yr old and loves it. Tracks don't stay on that well but works without them.

Not construction yellow, more of a brown.Nearly all metal construction, my 3 year old has been playing with it with no issues other than the tracks come off easily, which takes 2 seconds to fix or just leave off so not a big deal. All moving parts on the excavator are very stiff to move. Can see hydraulic lines coming off but a 3 year old isn't going to care about that unless you make a big deal of it. Decent price for metal pieces, will surely last for a long time.

These toys look exactly like the real thing! They operate very smoothly, and made a great gift for my 5 year old nephew.

These are smaller than expected. There was no pictures giving the since of size. Also they are NOT yellow, but dark tan..

I bought these for my grandson. I was hoping that he would be able to use them, and have fun doing it. He's only three, but a very bright young one. When he opened the gift, he was very excited to play, and within moments he was using the units with ease...well built...keeping pace with a three year old, and being tossed, and aggressively placed into action.Thanks to you for making units that have the ability of easy use.
