HoneywellVoyager 1200G Single-Line Hand-Held Laser Barcode Scanner with Stand Cable and USB Interface, 100 scan/s Scan Rate, 5V, Ivory

The one complaint is that it didn't come in all black like on the picture so it lost it's cool predator look. Part of the actual scanner was an off white. Otherwise everyone loves it. We've had a several other scanners (some were similar models from Voyager) and none compare to this one. It scans even the hard to read cards. Hopefully it lasts a long time. We've had it less than a month as of writing this.

I chose this scanner because of compatibility with the Quickbooks POS software. We had an old scanner which no longer worked with a USB connection and was no longer compatible. The Voyager simply was plugged in and has worked perfectly since. I am amazed at the fact it is able to read the smallest and even damaged bar codes. Definitely a winner!

Watch out - the picture shows a black scanner but the description shows an ivory scanner. Felt like a bit of trickery to me!We read the reviews and bought these scanners to replace scanners that were 5 years old. We noticed no improvement (new vs. old). We'll keep the ones we have.

I'm not a verified purchasher because I do my ordering through my school office, but I really did order this. It just arrived and I was nervous about trying to set it up. I thought I might have to call down to the tech office. But it was so easy! Like, no joke, easy. All I did was snap the pieces together and plug it into my computer. It started scanning barcodes right away. I rarely write a review but this thing was so simple, I had to write and recommend it, especially to anyone who is nervous about setting up a new electronic device. I'm really happy with this product.

I needed a cordless scanner. THe corded scanner I have will not work, how do I return it and order a new one? Phone# of suppllier would be helpful.

Would scan intermittently and when it did you had to have the item in exactly the right position. Very slow to scan. Made a constant buzzing sound.
