Q: Can I run this a 2 ohms?

Don’t get it. You can run it but the thing will cut out every time you play it loud.

Q: Would I need a capacitor?

Capacitors are not needed. They are mainly used to make the bass smoother but it is not needed.

Q: have a pioneer 1500 B flat shallow mount 4ohms what's. a good amp to push that for a 89 s10

This is Great Amp for two channel application

Using this amp with Kenwood DD471HD ( front pre outs) and through a four zone switcher to (4) Polk Audio DB651s 45 watt 4 Ohm. Has 150 watts per channel at 4 ohms which is plenty of power as not to be over worked..
