Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Siege Leader Class WFC-S13 Ultra Magnus Action Figure

The new leader class Ultra Magnus is an excellent figure. Leader Class toys feature a Voyager sized robot that combines with a bunch of extra parts to bulk it up. He's still quite a bit smaller than a Commander class toy, like his Combiner Wars figure, but the end result is still a big figure. His colors are very vivid (standing out in sharp contrast to the Combiner Wars figure) giving him a striking look. Like all War For Cybertron figures, he's covered in 5mm ports that allow quite a bit of options when it comes to attaching accessories. His vehicle mode for the inner robot is rather lame, but attaching the extra bits of his robot mode armor turns him into a larger, nicer looking vehicle. When transforming him like this, though, some of the parts need to be pressed together pretty firmly in order to make sure everything fits so you may wish to supervise smaller children who are trying to do so to make sure they don't accidentally break anything. Finally, if you feel that his five weapons aren't enough, Ultra Magnus's color scheme goes very well with Deluxe Class Weaponizer Cog, so you can bulk him up into a full-on walking armory. And the size of his feet means that he won't have the stability issues most smaller figures tend to wind up with while carrying a Weaponizer.

Love this GEN 1 transformer, both myself and my son. Love the level of detail and moving parts, love the difficulty level which is not too simple. Love the appearance of the truck and robot. Great buy and highly recommended.

Initially I was on the fence on the WFC Siege line, but as a fan of the classic G1 toys I had to buy Ultra Magnus. When it arrived, I was kinda surprised by how small he was compared to previous series' Leader Class figures, but he's solidly constructed and intricately detailed. The plastic quality on these WFC Siege figures seems to be much better than previous Transformers toys. Transforming Ultra Magnus from his fully armored mode to his vehicle mode is a little fiddly but looks great once set up, and in his unarmored mode he still looks imposing and well detailed. Definitely recommended for any Transformers fan of any age.

Very pleased with this item. It took a while to get here but it is from NYC. Packaged well and arrived within the time stated. My little boy loves it!!

I'm a long time fan of Transformers, a total G1 era dude, and I had the original Ultra Magnus toy as a kid, which was essentially two toys in one. Not since that glorious vintage gem has Ultra Magnus been so endowed, not even the Masterpiece version. This version is loads of fun, and as noted, comes with the smaller white deco Optimus figure to armor up (I know it's not technically 'Optimus' lol). Magnus has superb articulation, better than any version to date it comes with great accessories and paint deco. If you're a fan of the original G1 toy and/or just love the character, then you must have this figure in your collection. If I had any gripe, it would be that you can't really load him up with other vehicles, like the Classic, or MP versions. Maybe on the top, but it's not a feature. Even so, it's not really a big deal, since this is his 'Cybertronian' mode anyway. As I said, a must have and really fun toy!

Top marks. This is a very, well-done Magnus. All these Siege figures have exceptional robot mods and great transformations. The price paid comes in the alt modes, which are good, but easily outshined by the other two characteristics.
