The Hair Braid It Manual: A Step By Step Guide for Popular Braiding Hairstyles

Pictures are low quantity/low pixels which makes it hard to fully understand the braiding process by the step by step guide.. The images are also kinda small. The larger images are of the finished braiding process. Also there’s no images of the steps in between. When adding extensions: images for step 1,2,?,?5 missing steps 3 and 4. Hard to follow without pictures of all the steps... I am just a beginner in the braiding world though this book would add more insight. Sorry but I had to return the book don’t have 30.00 bucks to throw away. Maybe author should hire professional photographer for better close images..

Poorly put together "guide" most of the instructional photos are blurry and the cover photos are as well. Not worth $30, in my opinion. I will keep it because, I've written in it. If I did not, I would have returned it. It is not what it claims, as professional teaching guide. There are a lot of blank pages that seperate the pages, and there isnt enough information for the chapter titles. I was looking forward to this, and it totally falls short. If ther was a page review I would not have bought it. As I read more of the book (62 pages), I may find it helpful. I was more disappointed that this book was $30 and did not offer more in the way of informatoion. I understand that I am paying for her experences and education...... so yeah disappointed, and with myself for writing in it o can not return it. Another expensive lesson learned....

I'd been asked by my grandson to find a book on braiding when he was in barber school. He received this and stated it's not as he'd hoped but it was fine for a person just wanting to braid a family member or friend's hair. Depending on what you're looking for, this book might help. I imagine it would help me, but for a barber wanting to perfect male hair braiding techniques it didn't quite meet the mark.

Purchased this book to expand my knowledge. Much to my surprise I was already doing everything and then some. So, I definitely recommend this book to someone who is new to the braiding scene.

I love this book! It's very detailed and the pictures are great! I have been brading hair for years but wasn't knowledgable in some of areas. This book completely covered all the areas I needed to start my business! Thank you Afiya Hopson! You're a true blessing!

Interesting hair techniques

I found it poorly written and a little hard to understand the grammar. You can get more detailed and clear instructions (with visuals) on you tube tutorials. Wasn’t worth the purchase.
