Great for our shower
We couldn’t find this at Menards or Lowes, so ordered it. Was exactly what was needed.

Easy to install and saves time over the mortar bed method, expensive for what it is though
The profit margins the manufacturer is making on this product must be amazing. It's basically a cheap foam with some cardboard glued to one side. That being said, it definitely saves a lot of time over the old school method of building a pre-slope using mortar.

Saved me a lot of time doing my bath remodel.
At first, I thought styrofoam, then I installed it in a matter of minutes. My walk-in shower floor took about 30 minutes with mortar. The downfall is I had to trim it and the styrofoam made a slight mess. Still, I highly recommend this. Very sturdy after the mortar is applied. Bought the extensions so my shower is 3' x 7' now.

Timer saver!!!
I helped my son build a new alcove shower. The old one was very small stall shower with an awkward drain placement. We could not find a pre-made pan that would work so we opted to try this. We did use the extender as well. It was the right choice for our project.

Good Product
This preslope worked great and saved a lot of work and time. As with everything the first time using a foam preslope takes some thought but it will save a day of concrete work and dry time

Expensive
I really expected more for the price. I think it's just cardboard or styrofoam. I thought I would give it a try in a walk-in shower I'm finishing in my basement. I sure like the idea and think it would be a huge time and effort saver, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price when I saw what it was. There is very little info out there about it currently and in the end I was very worried how it would last over time. I wish the manufacturer would put some more details like what type of material or testing it's been through.

Styrofoam and cardboard?
I was nervous about getting the slope right for my shower. This looked perfect and from a trusted brand. However I was expecting it to be cement board or something, especially considering the price. But it's really just low density styrofoam...soft, squishy, crumbly styrofoam with a cardboard backer. Now I'm debating if I should use. Concern being will the 1.5" mortar and tile on top of this be rigid enough or am I setting myself up for cracked tiles every time someone stands on that floor?
