Lion Brand Yarn 100 g 100 Percent Acrylic "Landscapes" Yarn Ball, Sand Dune

I'm dropping one star as it's so difficult to work and I would not recommend for a beginnerThis is a difficult yarn to knit in that it can split on the needle if you're not paying attention. Giving ugly loops sticking out. If you make a mistake and have to undo a row or two as I did you'll find the yarn clings to itself however patience and perseverance and it was sorted.I am currently working on a scarf for my partner with this yarn and if you use a relatively simple textured stitch (I wouldn't like to try cable stitches!!) and biggish needles 6mm It comes out well.The colour changes are lovely I'm now looking for more of this yarn type for other projects but I'll keep it simple and steer away from using it on double pointed needles as I'm not totally experienced with them.I do think a bit of horses for courses is required I also downloaded the pattern from the Lion web page. So I'm knitting a pattern designed for the woolThe patterns all seem to be free so a good source of ideas.I have enclosed a photo of my work in progress. My camera is making it look lighter that it is in reality but you can see the lovely colour gradation and using the simple knit purl pattern i am a bit sorry I promised this to him!!!

This yarn is super soft and looks very pretty made up. It’s going to take more than one ball to make my hat, but that’s due to the bobbles, and one word of warning, it’s not easy to undo so try to get it right first time. Would buy this yarn again.

Love the shade of the wool. Nice and soft to. Will be ordering more in the future.

The yarn is very thin and flimsy. The thickness of the yarn also varies in the same ball of yarn.

This is hard to review. The wool was lovely to knit with. However it says that it comes in a pack of 3 and I only got delivered 1 ball so I was not able to do what I wanted with it originally.

As with the other Lion Brand yarn, it was bought for someone else.

Lion Brand Yarn 100 g 100 Percent Acrylic "Landscapes" Yarn Ball, Sand Dune was a complete disaster! Do not buy it, it completely disintegrated, and was very expensive. It was so bad I am unable to return it for a refund. Please do not waste your money. Over £50 down the drain.

This yarn is dreadful, it fell apart and separated constantly. I was unable to fulfil my task. My advice to fellow crafters is to not on any account buy this. It is expensive rubbish.
