Anti down draught cowl
Bought this because we had an issue with our built in to the chimney gas fire blowing out with high winds. Seemed to sort the issue immediately recommend

JUST THE JOB
Our coal effect gas fireplace kept getting blown out in strong winds. This meant having to keep the fire on at full power to avoid this, meaning it got too warm or too expensive. This cowel was the answer, easy to fit and the best £50 spent.

Good value - does the job
Fixes long-standing problem of down draft and reduces rain entry. Well made and “one of the better ones” according to the roofer who installed it for me

Bought this to reduce / prevent down draught. Said its multi size from 6" to 12".Haven't fitted it as its way to big for a 6" chimney. Wouldn't recommend for its multi size.

Seems to do the job but only installed it today and used it this evening.
The cowl is well made and very quick and easy to install. We were having a lot of problems with smoke coming into the room from our log burner and hopefully this anti-downdraught cowl will solve the problem. It certainly worked this evening!!
