I am impressed!
For the price you just can’t beat it. It’s a sturdy well made knife. It is a little heavy because it’s built to be sturdy but love the spring assisted opening. Opens smoothly and quick if you are doing it correctly. For $8 I wasnt expecting near the quality of this knife that it turned out to be. And yes it is very sharp. Great knife all around

Absolutely love this knife!
I really love this knife. I have had many but many knives but I really like the feel of this one. The blade arrived sharp, has a good weight and feel also feels well made. Opens smoothly and really quick. The spring assistance makes it really smooth and easy to open and i love how the clip holds it well. Love the color and grip. Money not wasted here.

$8 for a useful knife???
I've never had a knife from M tech before and I thought for $8 I would give it a try even though I considered it a novelty only when I pulled it from the shipping box first thing I noticed was how heavy it is took it out of the packaging and it was a bit chunky but felt decent in the hand I went to flick it open and the blade wouldn't budge it was a little tough to get it to open but after the initial opening it freed up and opened just fine. I now have opened it at least 200 times and has yet to feel sloppy the only 2 real negatives I have with it is that the liner lock can be finicky to use to close the blade about a quarter of the time it gives me a bit of trouble and the 2nd issue is it, out of the box, is the dullest knife I've ever gotten as new it felt like a toy knife blade wouldn't cut anything like a prop knife besides those 2 things for the money I expected a lot worse but was quite surprised at my initial impression will I carry it as a Frontline blade, no, but it is useful as a utility blade to have just laying around I do not regret my purchase...

Great knife and great quality
Excellent knife especially for the price. I got this as a “do everything” tool for garage/household. In that respect, it is fantastic. It’s built very well and no part of this knife is flimsy. The action is a little stiff that get better, but not by much so your finger will do a lot of the work. Blade seems to hold edge sufficiently and considering what I’ve used it to cut, it’s probably done better than most. It is very heavy though. You certainly know that you’re holding it so don’t intend for it to be sliding around anywhere because it’s like a little brick. I like that- but just a heads up. So for price and build quality definitely five stars.

Very Solid and Functional For The Price
It'd be awesome to see new blade and scale finishes for this model. These are heavier than expected, which is a good thing, in my opinion. Very simple design, and sturdy for this price. Probably one of the best knives I've ever had for $8. I bought two, and one had a slight issue with the lock spring not positioning correctly under the blade, which made it difficult to always lock the blade in the out position went deploying it. If you need to make adjustments to this, or to the tension of the blade, you can very slightly loosen the 2.5mm hex screw shown in the photo. This will help if it's too difficult to flip the blade outward, as I've read people have a problem with in other reviews. Loosening the screw very slightly and/or wiggling the blade upward should give the lock spring a little more room to fit under the blade when deploying it, which should allow the blade to lock properly every time. You shouldn't need to remove the screw and pin completely unless the above adjustments don't work in solving a locking issue.

Decent Knife, Hard to Open
This is a decent knife and comes with a sharp enough edge and the blade looks cool with the little open channel in it. It is really hard to open with the finger flick tab. The tab is a little small and the action too tight. It hurts my finger when I do it hard enough to actually open all the way. This makes it a little less useful, but it was crazy inexpensive. On balance if you know it may be a two handed opener, and you don't mind that, it is a nice knife.

Maybe not for food.
Smells overly metallic for some reason so I didn’t want to use it for food but it’s gotten better over usage. I’ve had this for a while and it hasn’t broken or fallen apart on me. I will say that it flicks open easily but it’s not so loose that it opens with gravity.
