I sacrifice using my phone while I watch TV, but it's well worth the money I save on everything else monthly. I was a bit concerned with other reviews complaining about the results, but I wanted to be able to do with my iPad what I frequently do with an HDMI cable to my PC laptop (basically use the TV as a monitor). As soon as it arrived, I was surprised how good it held my Samsung S4 cell phone, and being so thin and lightweight It doesn’t block air from the air vent at all. I think it is pretty affordable at the price, so hopefully my review says it all. Just try it and you will thank me later.

I use this to present using our company iPads through a digital projector onto a big wall screen. I have been using it to train groups of people to use a particular productivity app. Works great, no issues. I have not experimented with having sound come from the iPad to the projector, but since it is HDMI I assume that would work as well. The video clarity is terrific.
