The media could not be loaded.  I haven’t traveled with it just yet but the key(s) that comes with it allows it to close and lock pretty well. I could see myself taking it to travel for sure. It’s very sturdy and not flimsy at all.Definitely giftable. It’s a nice black. Doesn’t feel like a cheap leather. Great storage and space. It would look nice anywhere you put it for sure.I’d recommend. It doesn’t take up too much space. It’s just the perfect size.

I love this little box. Keeps my oddball collection of rings and spider (yes, spiders) brooches. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. A simple yet elegant masterpiece. But I had a remorseful thought. I wished this was available way back in the day when I discovered that my early teenage daughter was stashing lipstick away from my attention. Like I didn't know. I would have proudly, and a bit tearfully awarded it to her, out of recognition, and plain old love of her for growing up much to sooner than I would have wanted. Ya just got to be a dad of women children to understand. She's way grown up now, with two early teenage daughters of her own. I'm going to shoot her the link of this wonderful item. And if she doesn't tear up a bit to, then there's something WRONG with her!

A perfect gift for a 14-year-old's first jewelry box - beautifully crafted, great color (black - she's Goth), nice weight and sturdy feel. Many fun compartments and it locks! Excellent buy for the price as well. Not really suited for travel, though, a little too chunky. Thank you so much! jh

I'm not a big jewelry person, but this has enough room for my dozen rings, 6 necklaces, a watch and a couple of bracelets. The jewelry box keeps things out of the way, which is exactly what I needed. The necklaces have the potential to get tangled so I wouldn't use this to store a lot of fine jewelry, but every day accessories and costume jewelry will fit right at home. The craftsmanship is good for the price.

This is a nice jewelry box the material it’s made of very nice both inside and out. It has a key so you can lock it, and the handle sucks blondes back down flat when you’re not using it. It’s a nice size, big enough to put on your dresser to use on a daily basis Ed, but small enough to travel with

I am so glad I ran across this item! This jewelry box is very handsome, appears to be well made, has great storage capacity, locks, and is value priced. It is able to fit in a variety of decors, and would be well suited to purchase for almost any girl's or lady's gift. I chose the solid black as we are doing a red/black/gray Anime and the Orient style for my daughter's room on her 18th birthday.

A great jewelry box, that can fit a good amount of jewelry. A bit bulky for travel for me personally, but has all the features for a travel box, if you travel with a good amount of items. Very smart looking and durable.

Absolutely beautiful! Bought for Christmas for my 12 yr old daughter, she will love it! Was considering a similar one that was smaller and less expensive, glad I chose this one instead. Perfect size, not too small or big, will fit on her shelf on headboard. I gasped in delight when opening it, gorgeous and exactly as described...the black exterior and cream interior is classic and lovely. Excellent value for money, came very well wrapped to ensure no damage. Would but another one in a heartbeat, thank you so much, super fast shipping too!
