The setting tool appears to be fairly robust (although others have had issues) and certainly works very well. It makes fitting this type of wall anchor securely in plasterboard very easy. Far simpler than trying to do it by just tightening the screw in the anchor.The kit comes in a handy box with a good selection of different sized anchors and some extra fittings. The anchors are not the best quality steel, but have worked for me so far.The instruction leaflet is quite clear but there are also a number of helpful videos available online.

My stud walls were awful and would not hold standard wall plugs for plasterboard stud walls. I was able to use the anchors in the holes I already created for the plastic plugs. I was skeptical however, this tool really did the job. Job was done in seconds (holes already there)I used it for the wall brackets for new radiator covers, they hold securely. Easy to use, highly recommend.

Tool isn't going to last long. The shoulders on the anchors are really weak and a few of the threads sheared. I did a test on a piece of scrap plasterboard and they're not as good as brand name ones. Cheap though. For bigger and heavier items these would be useless and you'd want to look at products like Corefix.

For years I've used butterfly fixing type for plasterboard and a lot of the time the fixed washer which has spikes in it starts to turn causing the board to become weak and unstable so when I saw this bit of kit thought I would give it a go well what can I say it's a fantastic bit of kit used it the same day to fit vertical blind rails into a hollow box section and what a bit of kit it is it's easy to use and the results are great the fixing is in place where it's supposed to be doing the job it's supposed to do well done guys. Ps would be great to include a small hook type plasterboard measure so you know which fixing to use luckily I had one from an old rawplug type fixing kit
