I like these pencil extenders. keep in mind that they aren't for every pencil width. there's no way of knowing until you try it out. i.e.; insert a pencil into the sleeve. Still, the pencils that fit, fit snugly, one side is wider than the other so you have two shots at a good fit and the holder works with most standard #2 type pencils and the like. They are fairly sturdy, not too heavy yet not flimsy either. I purchased five of them which is a good amount to have on hand and I'm finally using the pencil stubs that have been sitting in my pencil jar. (you'll need to sharpen with a school type hand sharpener or Exacto-blade as the stubs will not fit while mounted in the holder into electric sharpeners).

Neither end of these dual sided pencil extenders properly fitted any of my multiple brands of artist quality graphite pencils, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, pastel pencils and charcoal pencils. They only fit one Steatdler pencil which I rarely use. I am unpleasantly surprised that they would not fit a dozen diffferent high end brands of art pencils. I immediately returned. Do not recommend.

I wanted to use this as a crayon holder but only 1” or so can be inserted into the barrel. If the barrel were hallow it’s be great!

My husband loves to color with pencils. His favorite colors were getting too short to hold on to. We found this product which allows him to hold the pencils more comfortably. Some pencils were too thin to be held tightly and he wrapped tape around them so they are more secure. He is very pleased with this product.

i make ceramics and use underglaze pencils a lot. i go through them quickly and they’re quite expensive per pencil. this will surely help extend the life of them. they feel secure in them. i haven’t used yet, but they fit and feel tight! arrived quickly.
