Amazon reviews always blow my mind on how much of a lack of common sense there is. Yes, it is glass and the description and packaging says it’s suitable for hot tea. ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS GOING TO BE HOT TO TOUCH. Even the box says to be careful. This glass is more suited for cold brewing and infusing fruit. Now the rant is over, the glass is beautiful. Well actually another thing to rant about...ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS FRAGILE. Why would you use a glass jar for everyday travel??? This isn’t stainless steel. Seriously, stop leaving such dumb negative reviews because you all lack common sense. Yeesh. The glass has a beautiful iridescent sheen and a veneer bamboo wood lid. I would hand wash this only since some people have reported the veneer bubbling and peeling off. The strainer basket could be a little deeper but it’s not a huge deal. It’s nice that it comes with its own twist top strainer handle. I plan on using this strictly for cold brews, fruit water, or 1-2hr warm brewing. If you want to use this for hot brewing, then buy a silicone handle.

Where should I start. This glass bottle is just amazing. When making my teas, I get excited to drink it. Fresh brewed and it looks good. It’s double Glas, so when you pour the hot water inside the glas, and you want to grab it, you won’t burn your hands, because the outer glass is warm and not hot. A beautiful bamboo lit gives the bottle the perfect touch. The bottle did came with a metal infuser where you can add your tea or herbs Inside. It’s super easy to use and to clean. Already bought 4 more

I am a tea drinker. This is excellent. It keeps my tea warm, comes with an infuser, and serves roughly a cup and a half. Not to mention it’s pretty and just feels better drinking from it than from a travel mug. Its only problem is its very breakable.

Makes GREAT iced tea. I love the way you can remove the strainer without issue. Super cute. Only problem is, I'm on my third (and, unfortunately, probably last) one because they don't even have to gently tap the bottom of the sink and they shatter. Super, fragile, wish it were a little less breakable.

Absolutely love this! Great for made loose leaf tea. Very easy to clean. Sturdy glass and well made. A great size for you summertime tea. I will fill it the night before with cold water and let the tea seep overnight and the next day I have a great tasting ice tea to sip on.

I may have put WAY too many flowers into the steeper, but I'm not reviewing the tea just the bottle. 2/22/22--I love it so far (if something changes I can always come back and update this comment) it's absolutely beautiful, currently I'm at work and I fill the container from the hot water at the water dispenser (ya know the thing that goes glug glug and has a red and blue nozzle with a 5 gal container on top) Anyway I filled it and my first concern was wether it would be too hot to handle but the double wall really helps so no need for a sleeve. Then I let it sit for 2 mins to steep. First mistake I made was putting the steeper in AFTER I put water in it (no it didn't over flow) more like after the 2 min steep all the top water was blue around the steeper.. .oops I really don't make tea often. After doing a very gentle turnover to mix everything it started leaking, well that's cuz I didn't tight the cap all the way BUT there is no reason anyone should need to find herculean strength just to screw the cap on (that's how we break our nice things) just a little extra umpf while screwing it and it won't leak. I like the lid too its smooth and gives me good vibe feels when paired with the iridescent bottle and LET ME TELL YOU! The pics don't do justice! Yes anything iridescent is cool all on its own but my boss just told me it looked like potion was in this bottle lol no need for thay edible shimmer crap, your just going to have to buy it yourself and understand what I mean!

Beautiful and I love using these to make tea! I’ve bought several because I love them so much but they do break pretty easily if knocked over so, be careful.

After reading the reviews, I decided to make the leap. I told myself, everyone says it breaks, so don't expect it to last very long, and decide when it breaks if it was worth it. I was going to be very, very careful with it, and hopefully I wouldn't clumsily smash it. I first got it on 9.Jan, and I'm writing this on the day of the bottles demise, the 15th. I was very careful with it, and didn't drop it at all, but today a weird pucker mark and a crack appeared in the bottle, and I decided not to wait until it shatters before calling the time of its demise. Unfortunately, even though it's only 23 bucks, the amount I babied this bottle to make it last as long as possible, and it didn't even last a week, I'm sorry, it's really not worth it. the iridescent was GORGEOUS and the infuser is great, but I don't want to have to turn around and buy a new one every week.

Just amayzing! Perfect. Durable, almost unbreakable. It slip twice on the floor and did not break. I had this bottle for more than 6 weeks and its my favorite

this thing is so so so pretty!! I just love it! I read reviews about breakage so I'm super careful with it. I have no idea if it's bpa free and the inside of the lid is plastic so that's my only concern. also the lid is bamboo but it's just a very thin veneer so I try not to get it wet if I don't have to and dry it right away or I suspect it would start to peel very easily. it's not crazy insulated and the top of the glass starts to get warm as heat transfers through but def better than a mug or normal cup. I've had it over a year with moderate use and the pattern is still all on there with only the tiniest amount of wear showing up. I will for sure buy again if/when disaster strikes and it breaks. hope they still have this pattern or it will take my heart along with it when it does! haha
