Brothers in Arms -Sacd-

I bought this to hear the SACD version on my McIntosh SACD player. It is perhaps one of the clearest and best sounding Dire Straits albums. The mastering is very good and instruments separation and sound stage is fantastic.

I was looking for this CD and surprisingly found it in SACD format. The sound quality is amazing! Thanks to the seller!

Spirited on time delivery Superb SACD title with accurate, immersive 5.1 mix. Though not recorded originally in 5.1, album has been re-mastered faultlessly Play it on a well setup Surround system and this will blow you away. Diverting. Won't feel like switching off. Get a really musical fast subwoofer like a Velodyne or B&W sub or better yet get a pair.

As expected, the CD is amazing and the audio quality is top notch

Sound quality is quite good which isn't something I can say about a lot of cd's these days. Mark knoffler's voice comes on with a good depth and the guitar solo's just sing if you get my drift.

This album is simply the best out of Dire Straits repertoire. Packaging needs to be improved. One corner of the vinyl outer cover has given way, damaging the beauty of the magnificent cover. Otherwise, prompt delivery.

This remastered album is excellent. Already have the CD so knew how it should sound. Not disappointed.

Det enda dåliga var att jag var tvungen att kalibrera om min sacd-spelare(Sony scd-xe597) för först stod det no hybrid i displayen när jag valde sacd. Provade sedan med min nya Sony blu-ray spelare som kunde läsa den som sacd utan problem.

Grands moments de musique.

Manche Alben hört man, und manche Alben erlebt man. Brothers in Arms gehört definitiv zur zweiten Kategorie. Auch Jahrzehnte nach seiner Veröffentlichung hat dieses Werk nichts von seiner Magie, seiner Tiefe und seiner technischen Brillanz verloren. Warum dieses Album in jede Sammlung gehört: • Knopflers Gitarrenspiel: Mark Knopfler ist ein Magier an den Saiten. Sein unverkennbarer Sound – besonders auf der legendären Les Paul in „Money for Nothing“ oder der emotionalen Resonator-Gitarre in „The Man’s Too Strong“ – ist schlichtweg außerweltlich. • Klangqualität: Es gibt kaum ein Album, das produktionstechnisch so perfekt abgemischt ist. Wer eine gute Anlage oder hochwertige Kopfhörer besitzt, wird Details hören, die Gänsehaut garantieren. Es ist der Goldstandard für Dynamik und Klarheit. • Songwriting: Die Mischung ist perfekt.
