Our family had a similar toaster for well over 10 years when it finally died. I can't tell you how many homemade Egg Muffins we made on it. When it quit working, I bought a cheap toaster to replace it. I had no problems with it, but my wife absolutely wanted another one with the egg cooker. She likes hard boiled eggs as a noon snack. Our old one perfectly cooked up to 8 at a time, both quickly and with very little water. She found this one and immediately asked me to order it. This won't toast four slices like our old one, but it still does the job extremely well. The toasting adjustment on it is far better than the one on our old one. My wife prefers very lightly toasted bread. I like it a lot darker and the adjustments are consistent. If you like Egg Muffins, poached eggs or hard boiled eggs, this is far better than anything else I've seen, with very little mess and cleanup required. As far as toast, it's the best thing since sliced bread. Please pardon that final dad joke.

I saw one of these in the UK and was happy to find one that works here. It does well for toasting bread, and the egg cooker works great for boiled eggs. I love that I can just put the stuff in there, walk away, and my breakfast is ready 10 minutes later.I was bummed it doesn't have a bagel function. (Where it only toasts the inside) However, this toaster isn't as bad as others that burn the outside. But I still wish it had the setting so only the inside of the bagel got toasted. It also does't really poach the eggs. Even with the tiniest amount of water, I haven't gotten this thing to soft poach. I think the toaster part kicks in after the eggs finish (or are almost done) so that everything is done together. But in doing that, the eggs continue to cook in the steam while the bread is toasting, so I always end up with hard cooked eggs. I have yet to get it to cook it where the yolk stays soft. I think I need to experiment more with the quantity of water I put in, maybe I'll figure it out eventually. I like that it comes with a little measuring cup. It has worked well for boiled eggs. I've done hard and soft boiled. The meat tray is nice to throw a couple ham slices on. Be aware that all the meat juices will drain into the egg cups as it cooks (I just pour it out when it's all done).The controls are super simple, and clean up is really easy. I just rinse the tray and cover and use a little cooking spray for the egg tins so they come out pretty clean. Overall I'm happy with this toaster and really enjoy the convenience of an easy egg breakfast that cooks unattended.

Really easy to use and clean. Makes toast and eggs in a few minutes. I have no complaints. Really nice product.

This product was great for a one time use. We use it once to cook eggs and bagel for one person, then try to make a second sandwich and the toaster will not stay down. We have unplugged it waited for it to cool down and it still does not work. We do not suggest this product.

Modifying my original review to 3 stars. This is a great idea. However, the engineering is not worthy of 4 stars. going with 3 stars. Added to my other comments is the fact that the algorithm used for timing the eggs and toast could use improvement. Currently the toast is completed way too soon, before the eggs. Thus when the eggs are done, the toast is already cold. I like this thing but not 4 or 5 stars worth.I have had this for almost one month and have used it about 15 times. So far so good. I previously owned the Back to basics toaster which I believe this one is based off of. Focus group bought back to basics and they also own west bend. I had my previous unit well over ten years and used it multiple times per week. I hope that this unit lasts as long. Summary: These are great for making a quick, good, breakfast. Some people have reported failures with the unit but, mine is working fine after a month of much use.I would give this 5 stars except for the following. West Bend if you happen to be listening ...1. The measuring cup which you use to add the correct amount of water to cook the egg(s) is extremely difficult to read. This was the same with the b2basics model. And a little water makes a big difference, either your eggs are cooked hard, or runny. 2nd, I have rather large hands XXL glove size. I find it difficult to put the little egg holder into the steamer without it spilling some egg white. If the egg white goes into the chrome steamer, it gets basked on and is difficult to clean. I would design this differently so it is not so difficult to keep the little egg tray "flat" and not spill. I always use a bit of oil in the egg tray but, it is still difficult to get the cooked egg off and clean. Keep working on a good non stick. 3rd When removing the clear plastic top from the cooked eggs BE CAREFUL, I just burned myself with steam a few minutes ago. I would incorporate a simple removable handle for the clear plastic top, so you can keep you fingers away from the escaping steam. Overall, I find this to be great to get a good quick breakfast. I hope it lasts as long as the B2Basics model I had.

this thing rips and is insane ... cooks so fast as well ... very good price for what you get

Bread capacity and roasting time, taste , ease of cleaning and value for money . eggs and lunch meat tuned out excellent

It's great but I purchase the 4 slices and Its better then "McDonald's......wish I could of buy the same one again but your out of stock.

Whats not to like? It is easy to use and that means others can make there own.

Even though I returned it, I miss this item. It is very practical as a cooking station and makes it easy to do a complete breakfast, kinda motivates you more to do so. Just crack up some eggs, couple slices of bacon and let it do the magic. Sure, your egg will be basically steamed, and it doesn't have the colour or the look of an egg on a pan, but it's still very good. It is good to note that the reason I gave 4 stars is that the material quality good be better, but it is not bad either, it won't break on you easily, but you can feel it by touching it. The only reason we returned it is that we wanted a 4 slices toaster and there wasn't any available on this breakfast station.

I originally loved this item!It was perfect for us5 months laterIt only toasts one side of the bread!Will contact customer service * see what happens.....Update: hthey want proof of purchase & photo of bottom of original box & video showing its not toasting......After jumping threw hoops & like video ingredients us cutting the cord, & sending other info, they finally sent a replacement and after 2 months it started toasting only one side againI'll just throw it out & take it as a loss and buy a different toaster!Horrible product
