It's a Jungle in There!
I love this piece! It's an emerald green, just like a lush new grass lawn on a sunny day. It's quite dense so if you're looking for something that's easy for your fish to swim through you may want to consider one of the smaller (and less expensive) ones that have the blades of grass fanned out more: Jardin Plastic Emulational Decorative Long Leaf Plant for Aquarium, 20cm, Green and Aquarium Plants, High Simulation Artificial Plastic Plant Green Grass Aquarium Decoration for Fish Tank Landscaping Aquarium Accessories, Water Grass Décor, 8.3 Inch .I've purchased all three, and this one (ASIN: B00MNTW64Y) truly is as dense as it appears here online. The other two not so much so I'm attaching photos of all three. As you can see in the photos both of the less expensive ones I purchased (photo of the two together) were pretty much the same in terms of size. The grass on the cheapest one was bit poorly attached / lacking in quality so I'll purchase the mid-priced one when I need another Small one.Lastly, I just wanted to note that none of the three prices / brands I purchased had any odor.

It's attractive but quite large so I don't recommend it for a 10 gal tank
I bought this to replace a deteriorating silk plant in my 10 gallon tank. It's attractive but quite large so I don't recommend it for a 10 gal tank. It is definitely a thick plastic so consider that in your choice. My Beta just passed but if he were still living, I would have returned the plant as it would damage his beautiful fins. The fish I have currently are fine swimming through this plant but I will need to replace it when we add another Beta later this year. It is quite heavy which is a good thing as it doesn't dislodge while vacuuming the bottom of the tank. I think it is a good fit for a 20 gallon or larger tank but not a 10 gal tank.

Large and colorful - good for breeding grass.
When I first unpacked it, the grass seemed bent over, but just brushing it upward with my hand was enough to shape it. The color is a bright green, very pleasant. The fine blades will be great protection for fry if you plan to breed your fish. The base forms a good anchor, even without having to bury it in the gravel. Overall I am totally pleased with it.

5 months later
The media could not be loaded. This is 5 months later how it looks. My turtles love to use it as a toilet. This is where I find all the droppings lol. So I like it for that reason. I do lose some grass here and there as you can see the holes on the base. They come off eventually but I can’t complain. I’d say one a year is useful for the price. Turtles love it and use it so I can’t complain much.

Looks very plasticy
I am not a picky buyer or reviewer and always try to be fair to the products I buy. I have purchased several items from CNZ Aquarium Aquascape supplies and they all looked very realistic. Unfortunately, this particular one is bright green and very plastic looking. Its large in size so it does give a nice appearance versus small plants in an aquarium. Perhaps over time when this plant ages, it may end up looking more realistic. If you are looking for something more lifelike, I liked item # B00MNUSWVE from this same company brand instead. The plant is fairly easy to clean when needed.

Bigger than I thought
I haven't had to clean it yet, so I can't say anything about that. Everything is well put on by glue. The glue is easily covered my your substrate. The plastic is a bit firm. I wouldn't recommend it with any fish that has long fins that you want to protect. It's about 9.5in long by 8in tall at the highest grass. The shorter grass is about an inch to inch and a half shorter. Looks very nice in my 29gal. wouldn't recommend it for anything under a 20 long though. It would take up a lot of space.

Great size for the price
The peice is larger than I anticipated which is nice. It is pretty heavy and would not see it being able to float or shift very easily. The leaves are soft and flexible, I would assume safe for most fish (I'm using mine with our turtle). Would be cautious with Beta fish due to this being very dense and could see their fins maybe getting torn on it. It does take a little more care when cleaning because of how thick the plants are. Only negatives are it did have a pretty strong plastic smell and tons of glue at the base where they attached the smaller plants. I soaked it in hot water and scrubbed it with dish soap so the smell is much better. As far as the glue, it is not noticeable if you have a fine or sand substrate. So far it is a nice larger piece for the price. I could see this being sold for double the price at a box store. I would order it again.
