Splendide Isla 45-Piece Flatware Set

Fantastic looking. I bought a set and my company was so excited when they saw them that they wanted a set. So I gifted my friend with a set. A friend of hers saw them at her house and now she wants a set. (I should get a sales commission!) They make an impact.They can spot in the dishwasher unless you use some anti-spot additive. Even if they do spot, a little buffing out with a dry paper towel and they’re as good as new.Only downside I have found with these is the butter knife – it really sucks at getting the last of anything out of a jar because of the sharp point. On the other hand the butter knife is sharper than your average butter knife so you can actually use it as a cutting knife with softer foods.

My wife was a bit skeptical about the shape of the spoons and knives of the set when I showed them to her online. Once we got them and tried them out in our hands she changed her mind immediately. The handles of all the pieces are curved in the right places and fit the hand well. They are not too thin or too thick. They are nice and shiny and have a different appearance than the typical flatware set. Exactly what I was looking for something different and good quality. We are very pleased.

There were a few problems with my order.The first was that it was incorrect. The vendor quickly addressed the mistake. Unfortunately, the replacement order was missing one piece from the set and an extra piece of silverware was included.After finding out about the mistake, I was sent a replacement.This is one of the prettiest set I have ever seen. It has weight and appears to be high quality.

As soon as we took them out of the package, my family commented on the beautiful shine! The utensils are heavy enough that you know they will last a long time and through a lot of wear and tear.

They look attractive, but the spoons are not very functional. They feel very awkward in my mouth and enough of whatever I'm eating is left in the spoon. Maybe one is supposed to just pour the food from the spoons into one's mouth and not actually put spoon in mouth? Are there people that eat this way? Haven't seen anyone do that; I don't.

Love the shapes of the silverware especially the squared spoons.

I am always looking for unique pieces and this flatware set was different and I had to have them. I absolutely love this set. They look just like the picture. They are a nice weight. Not too heavy & not too light but just right. I love a good spoon because I eat a bunch of cereal and soup, the spoon doesn’t disappointment. I would recommend this set. It was well with the $99 bucks I paid.

It's both beautiful and unusual. It has a nice weight and feels good to hold it. It took awhile to get used to eating from the unusually shaped spoons. I've been washing it in hot water and drying it to keep it from getting fingerprints. I just picked up some Finish so I can put it in the dishwasher.
